Visit to Bulgaria It felt like walking back in time. People are friendly. Local food was also good. Bit expensive compared to Bucharest. Some roads are scenic. The tour guide, Robert, was very good, almost like a standup show all the time. And at the same time he was knowledgeable. The church is very old but not worth of admission fee. I felt it’s more beautiful from outside than inside. If you skip it I don’t think you will miss a lot.

This tour was amazing. Our guide Roberto was so knowledgeable and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the history and background. Unfortunately, it was raining, but he changed around the schedule to make it work for us. It was a small group, which allowed for flexibility. This is a great way to experience Bulgaria if you have a limited amount of time.

It was a beautiful trip that was well planned out. The tour guide was amazing and you could see that he had pride in what he did. The only bad would be if people had any kind of handicap or very bad physical shape, they would probably have a few problems, because we climbed stairs and there was a lot of walking. Otherwise I normally hate tours, but this one was a great trip to see what Bulgaria was all about.

Our day trip in Bulgaria with Gray Lines was excellent. Our guide Roberto was highly informative and could answer everything that we might need to know. His general observations at the beginning were very helpful. We enjoyed all the points of interest, from the Orthodox Church to the Bulgarian castle and left with a very good introduction to the nation of Bulgaria.

Nice ride but charging outlets did not work in van. Informative and organized. People need to know there are a lot stairs to climb on this tour.
