Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens
Once we reach the top, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views along with the pleasant aroma of herbs and flowers. From there, we will slowly walk through one of Japan’s largest herb gardens, where approximately 75,000 herbs and flowers of approximately 200 species bloom all year round. After spending some time in these beautiful gardens, we will return to the ropeway station and prepare for our descent. After landing, we will start walking towards Kitano Ijinkan. We can see different styles of the houses. Some are Western, some are modern and of course some are Japanese. Finally we are here, the exotic Ijinkan street.
Kitano Ijinkan-gai
Continue walking down the road until we reach this Starbucks in Kitano area. It is listed as one of the tangible cultural properties in Japan. This Starbucks is very beautiful inside and out. It is also a popular photo spot. Then, we will continue on our way to the Ikuta Shrine. It is the oldest shrine in the area and probably also one of the oldest in Japan.

We had Justin, who provided us with an excellent interesting day and great companionship. Justin is a Canadian who lives in Japan, so it was great to talk to him too about his experiences living in Japan. He provided us with many helpful tips for the remainder of our holiday. Justin also knows all the good spots to eat, and lunch was a highlight as he took us to one of his favourite little local spots. We found Kobe to be a lively modern city, full of surprises.

Even though the weather was less than ideal, Justin was entertaining and knowledgeable, with a good insight of life in Japan. Made for an enjoyable day.k

If you’re interested in spending a half-day exploring the beautiful city of Kobe, I could not recommend this tour more highly. From the meeting and departure, to the activities and local knowledge, the experience is exactly what I was looking for. The itinerary, and superb tour guide Justin made it easy and enjoyable to learn about the historic city and culture of Kobe. At least moderate fitness is required, but you’ll reward the appetite you work up with the delicious food and drink along the way.

I recently joined this tour in Kobe led by the wonderful guide Wingki, and it was an absolute delight! Wingki's passion for her job was evident, and she eagerly shared her knowledge with me throughout the tour. She went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and engaged, explaining everything in great detail. Wingki's expertise truly shone through as she effortlessly guided me through the city, sharing fascinating insights along the way. Despite the walking (quite a lot) involved, Wingki's caring nature made the experience incredibly enjoyable. Thanks to Wingki, I gained a newfound appreciation for Kobe and its cultural heritage. Kobe Surpasses My Expectations!!!!!!! I could feel how much she loves Kobe. I will join this tour with my family again, surely.
