We have very experienced mushers and well trained cute dogs leading you to a joyful sledding trip. Along with spectacular mountain views and cozy sledding equipment, must try it once in a life time! All our 84 friendly Alaskan huskies have names and different personalities. They love to run and receive cuddles. We travel over tundra and through forests and you will get in close contact with both nature and dogs. During daytime, you will get a beautiful view towards the Lyngen Alps, and during dark season you can experience the northern light dancing above us. Two people share each sled and we will stop along the way to change mushers and to take photos.

Warning: 3 out of 3 of our tours with Norwegian Travel were cancelled with no alternatives provided. Below is my review just for the dogsledding cancellation experience but I also wanted to communicate that there was a systemic customer service issue. We had a disappointing experience working with Norwegian Travel. Unfortunately, they cancelled our tour the day before we were set to depart because it was too warm weather to operate. We totally understand that weather conditions happen, but other than providing us a refund, the tour operator did nothing to help us find an alternative option. We came to Tromso to do activities, not to sit around all day doing nothing, so we were disappointed that literally no other alternative was offered. We even proactively asked about a few different options (eg moving other tours we had booked with that company to our cancelled dogsledding day) and were met with a resounding “nothing we can do”. Additionally, the last minute nature of the cancellation made it very hard for us to reroute and find a new option on our own.

One of the best experiences we have ever done. Bus ride from our hotel was about 30 minutes and then was welcomed by our guide who explained everything perfectly. On with the boots hats and suits and gloves and then was told how to ride the sleigh. Unbelievable scenery as we sleighed through the snow, had 20 minutes driving the sleigh and then swapped with my partner to enjoy the ride, the whole time sleighing was 45 minutes. Then we got to meet the dogs then had some reindeer soup to finish a brilliant adventure

The dogs are really friendly and energetic!! The sled is easy to ride even for first-timers like us. Definitely recommend for everyone.
