Join an authentic Arctic adventure as you take the reins and drive your own team of dogs through the stunning landscapes outside Tromsø. Dog sledding has been a traditional way to travel and hunt across the Arctic for centuries, and now you can experience it for yourself.
Your guide will teach you how to handle the sled and offer helpful tips so you can enjoy every moment as a musher—connecting with nature, the dogs, and the thrill of the Arctic wilderness.
You’ll meet friendly Alaskan huskies, each with unique names and personalities, who love to run and welcome plenty of cuddles. As you glide across open tundra and through snow-covered forests, you’ll feel the bond between you and the dogs grow stronger.
During the day, you’ll admire breathtaking views of the Lyngen Alps, and in the darker months, you may witness the northern lights dancing in the sky above. Two people share each sled, and you’ll have the chance to switch positions and take memorable photos along the route.

Fantastic day out! So much fun with the gorgeous doggos. Really well organised, safe and lovely to be part of cuddling dogs afterwards is just the best. So many different personalities.

Highlight of the trip for me. I was a bit nervous about driving the sled but it was very easy. I'm not particularly fit but easily managed to drive for an hour. The guides were really friendly and the dogs were all treated well. They were so excited to get going you could tell they weren't being forced to work.

A great welcome and extremely well organised. Warm suits, boots , gloves and hate provided. A lot of fun sledding, Andy didn't get tipped out once. Lovely bit coffee and delicious cakes when we finished and an interesting talk about the dogs. Would recommend this excursion for a great day out

This was brilliant, not very long and very expensive but we absolutely loved it. It’s very cold if doing in late Jan. Dogs look well looked after, staff were really nice and helpful. Experience was amazing, wife was nervous about having her stint as the musher but was so glad when she did her turn. Highly recommend this. Loved it.

The original tour we signed up for was canceled, so we were moved to a different one. The huskies were very cute, but the location was quite far—about an hour or more outside of Tromsø. The sled ride was shorter than expected and stopped frequently for various reasons, which made the experience feel somewhat disjointed. Our sled was pulled by only four dogs, while most other tours appeared to have six to eight. I would have preferred a longer, more continuous ride, as it felt like we were mostly circling the same area. Since riders had to switch during the experience, it would also have been helpful to receive assistance with taking photos together.

Fun from start to finish. If driving the husky sled you need to be relatively fit and steady on your feet. Very enjoyable and stunning setting!
