Me and my mom loved this jewellery making activity. We got the full overview of the making of our rings with melting of silver, to heating, hammering and thinning our the silver and then observing how the host made it into a ring with the chosen gem stone we wanted. The price is cheaper than the stores inside Galle Fort, but the money also goes directly to the family responsible for the activity, for the father and son who makes the rings and the mother who makes the Sri Lankan snacks😊❤️ I recommend highly all visitors, both foreign and Sri Lankan to try this activity. You also get humbled knowing how much work is put into a piece og jewellery!

This is a family run business and what a fabulous way to enjoy discovering how jewelry is made by hand. You first select a style you want created and then off to the workshop. The skills of the jewelry workers are amazing.

I was there with my daughter who wanted to create a charm for her Pandora bracelet as a memory of our vacation. After some drawings it turned into a small turtle with a moon stone. She was extremely happy with the result. Everybody was very friendly, explaining and engaging my daughter in the activity. Wel spend time.

I messaged the place a few days before, asking if instead of a ring, I was able to make a bracelet. They said they can do it for me, but it would be a bit too complicated to make myself. They were always reachable via whatsapp message and very transparent with the pricing. So when I arrived, they had already started making the bracelet but I was still able to make a silver ring, to get the experience. There was somebody always attentive and teaching me, I was never left to my own devices. I would really recommend this experience, you are literally in a local home, sharing with locals. All of the family was lovely and the snacks yummy. They even delivered the bracelet to me later on and I was able to pay by card. The bracelet exceeded all my expectations. Its absolutely beautiful!

I have been there twice and was very satisfied with the care and the final result. First we were warmly welcomed by the family and got a little something to eat and tea. Then everything was explained and shown to us what is possible. Then we went to the workshop, where we work with patience, tradition and heart. Clear recommendation!

My mum and I absolutely loved every part of this experience. The lovely family welcomed us with food on arrival, then we sat and chose our gem and ring style. After that, they took us through to the workshop where we made our own rings. We learned so much and are obsessed with how they turned out. Highly, highly recommend - I’m so glad we chose Senu Jewellers 💗
