Visiting the place my Great Grandfather fought and died in was truly emotional. To see the hardship they suffered makes me very proud to be an Australian. Full respect to the Turkish people for embellishing our fallen and looking after these sights.

My wife and I took the half-day ANZAC tour from Cannakale. It included the ferry to Kilitbahir with a very nice 3 course lunch there then on to the ANZAC areas around Anzac Cove, the recently finished museum which is excellent, then along second ridge starting with Lone Pine and stopping at all prominent ANZAC spots concluding with Chunak Bair. Our guide, Ercan, was just great. He has an exhaustive amount of knowledge of the campaign and conveyed this in a most interesting way. You really understood what it was like for both sides of the conflict. He was happy to stop and answer any questions or discuss any points you wanted to contribute. He is recognised as an authority on the history of the Dardenelles and has guided many dignitaries to the area. We were so impressed with him we signed up for the half day tour of Troy with him the next day which was just as interesting as the ANZAC tour. You couldn't go wrong booking a tour through Hassle Free Tours. Hanifi who owns the business speaks excellent English and has been to NZ and Australia several times one of which was a Turkish delegation. He has his office not far from the waterfront in Canakkale. We were really impressed with this tour which visited all the key spots of the ANZACs. From the specially cooked lunch to the passion that Ercan showed for Gallipoli's history, my family and I could not rate this tour more highly.

Absolutely must do tour for anyone from Australia or New Zealand, or anyone with an interest in the war. Ercan was super knowledgeable, very friendly and gave a good account of both sides in a structure led route. Transport was easy and comfortable and the lunch provided was a great start to the trip. It was a pretty hot day but the van was well air conditioned and had time between spots to cool down.

Took a half day Gallipoli Tour with Apo from Hassle Free today, such a great trip! Awesome to see the historical sites and to learn all the info that Apo was willing to share. As there are do few people travelling at the moment, I was the only one on the tour but that did not stop them from going ahead with it! Great day out, get involved with these guys for sure!

Went on the €40 Gallipoli tour from Canakkale with Apo who was a great guide. Included ferry tickets, museum, lunch and travel around a number of key sites and memorial cemeteries. Am not normally a tours person but exploring Gallipoli would have been very difficult without one and I’d definitely recommend Hassle Free to anyone looking for a good value, good quality option.

We engaged on this tour at the beginning of our memorable trip along the coast of Turkey. I can't remember if I have already submitted a review but more than happy to resubmit as this tour was unforgettable. Apo has so much knowledge of the history of the fighting of this area. His passion and genuine heartfelt sympathy for all involved at the time was evident as he carefully articulated details at each point and as we travelled the distance. From the booking, the yummy lunch provided in Ecebat right to the farewell Apo made our experience memorable. We felt Apo's personal interaction with our small group to be excellent and almost individually taylored. I would highly recommend this trip as one of the best we have ever been on. Inexpensive and top value.

We were a group of four from Sydney- we did a full day Gallipoli tour with Apo. It was our lucky day, Apo is full of life, passion and information- he breathes all things history! You must do if you have a day available! You will be enthralled and obviously quite an emotional ride
