Meeting point Pádraic Ó Conaire statue in the middle of Eyre Square. The story starts here. Strolling through the Square, stopping at the John F. Kennedy memorial, The Quincentennial Fountain, The Brown Doorway to hear the story behind the monuments.

We covered everything from Eyre Square to the Spanish Arch, and Kathleen’s storytelling made the centuries of history feel incredibly relevant and engaging. She has a wonderful, friendly energy and was happy to answer all our questions. Beyond the history, her local tips for where to go and what to eat were invaluable. Highly recommend!

5.00Kathleen was a wonderful wealth of knowledge. She described the history and culture in Galway as we walked through town. She answered numerous questions and also gave recommendations on other sites to see. We thoroughly enjoyed her tour. I would highly recommend her tour as an introduction to a visit in Galway.

5.00Kay was my guide in this very interesting walking tour of Galway. We were a small group of only 4 people, so there was plenty of opportunity to ask all the questions we had, and Kay answered them all. She is such a sweet lady, and has a wast knowledge of Galway’s history. The tour was about 75min and took us past many interesting places and finally finished by the Galway City Museum.
