Fun and entertaining. Lots of great stops. Very informative tour. Our tour guide was super. Even helped us with suggestions for finding some unique items, such as finding a local Irish wine.

It was very delicious, Kate (I think her name is that) was very nice and even spoke some German. And the weather was bomb!

Our tour guide, Claire, was awesome. She gave us a lot of information about the history of Galway and as well as the vendors we stopped to sample. She was very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to interact with for our whole tour. I would strongly recommend taking this tour as we did learn a great deal about Galway, the vendors and the sourcing the vendors used for their menus. For me personally, I have a bum knee, so the walking tour did not cause me any issues as we had frequent stops where we could sit, rest and interact with Claire and the vendors.

We did a private food tour for five people with Olly, and it was brilliant. She’s a trained chef, and it shows—her insights into the dishes, the producers, and the spots we visited added real depth. She was also really kind and friendly. Even as someone from Galway, I picked up new pieces of our own history from her along the way.

What a great way to tour Kilkenny City! A bit of history, we loved hearing the stories from the wonderful family run business we visited. The food was incredibly delicious. Claire was simply amazing. Highly recommend!

We love to do food tours to get to know a city better and sample its food. This one did not disappoint. Danny is a personable and knowledgable guide who clearly loves his city. And the food stops were excellent — from raspberry croissants to sushi to beef stew (and a smoked salmon substitute for me since I don’t eat beef). We also tried Irish whiskey, brandy, moonshine and stout. We did the tour on a rainy day that also turned out to be Christmas jumper day — when university students don Christmas sweaters and swarm the city, drinking heavily. That just added to the fun, imo. Danny gave us a great trip: Go to the other side of the river to the westend because all the pubs and restaurants will be swamped with drunk kids. We took his advice and went to Il Vicolo for dinner (one of the restaurants the tour recommends), and that was great, too.

I can't recommend this experience high enough! Sheena is an amazing, warm and very knowledgable tour guide, the food was exceptional - and I had so much craic with other tour participants. Top marks!
