Chinggis Khan Statue Complex
The gigantic steel equine statue mounted by Genghis Khan himself is the largest statue of an equestrian in the world. This 40 m tall statue is located on a hillside on the bank of the Tuul River in an area called Tsonjin Boldog and connected to capital Ulaanbaatar by 54 km paved road. Tsonjin Boldog was chosen according to the legend that Genghis Khan found a whip in this area. In Mongolia, people believe that man finding a whip is a sign of fortune, good destiny, and occasion. The statue faces east, the direction of Genghis Khan's birthplace, and the sunrise. If you stretch your eyes to the east, you will see a small statue of his mother greeting him.

A private van for two of us. A young tourist guy showed all his knowledge & care for the whole trip. Thank you!

I had a phenomenal day! The guides were personable, informative, caring, and humorous! The sites were great! We rode a camel, horse, and held an eagle. We had a great hike too.

Visited the Genghis Khan Complex seeing and going up the largest equestrian statue in the world. Views surrounding the complex were amazing. Was able to hold an eagle, ride a camel and attemt some of the archery (challenging!). We then went to have lunch in a traditional Ger and had traditional Mongolian food which I found to be delicious. This was followed by the visit to the National Park where climbed the Turtle Rock, and climbed up the monastery, again with amazing views of the surrounding. Was able to horse ride and visit a nomads Ger on this tour as well. The host was an amazing guide who had a lot of knowledge about Mongolia. Highly recommend this tour, it felt more like a private tour which made it even more value for money for me.

Bati was an amazing driver and guide. He provided an excellent history lesson and the cultural significance of Mongolia throughout Asia and Europe. We were able to beat the crowds at all of the locations and it gave the tour a truly authentic feel. I would recommend this tour for anyone on a condensed timeline while visiting Mongolia

It is really amazing experience: start with a coffee stop and then we went to see statue. After it we had a traditional lunch which we could select dishes. Then we went to do camel ride, hiking to the temple and many more things. Guide and the driver gave a lot of information and was a great experience.

You can tour the highlights of Terelj National Park in one day. We used it in March, during the tourist off-season, but the weather was good and we were able to do all the programs we planned. All seven participants shared two cars to see the sights. The driver was also good at English, and he was very gracious in dealing with my poor English. They took pictures and showed us around Ulaanbaatar city sightseeing spots on their way home. It was a very satisfying tour!

My husband and I had a great day. Bati was an excellent historian and skilled driver who spoke good English. We set out to do all the things listed in the program. However, the food in the photo is misleading. You don't get to eat all those. I had buuz (beef dumplings) and that was all they give me. It was also disconcerting that I did not receive any information before hand. I wasn't sure if the tour would happen. I had to contact them every step of the way.

We had an amazing tour of chinghis Khan statue where our guide gave great explanations of the history of chinghis and the mongol empire and answered all out questions on just about everything related and also offers lots of interesting insights. We then had an amazing lunch in a ger and climbed turtle rock which offered beautiful views of the landscape. Finally we went to the meditation temple which is beautiful and serene and offered many picturesque vistas. Our guide was very friendly and willing to take many pictures of us and the whole experience was amazing. Definitely a must do if visiting UB.
