What To Expect
Bushmills Distillery
Bushmills Irish Whiskey is made at the world's oldest licensed working distillery in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on the beautiful North Coast. The original grant to distill was signed in 1608 by King James I, and there has been distillation on the site since then, using the unique water from the stream and Irish barley. Experience the rich aromas and full-bodied flavors of the golden nectar by pre-booking one of the tutored tasting events. Choose from several options ranging from a virtual tour to an hour-long run-through with trained whiskey experts. Admission to the distillery is £9.00 per adult, with concessions for children at £5.00 and seniors at £8.00.

5.00What an amazing day! Our tour guide Diarmuid was fantastic. He is very funny, classy and knowledgeable. The tour is packed full of natural wonders. The Carrick-A-Rede Bridge and the Giants Causeway are breathtaking. The scenery all along this tour is beautiful. Do not miss this one. I would do it all over again. Diarmuid thanks for the memories.

5.00Diarmuid was our driver and we were so lucky to have him! He was full of knowledge of history and wit and took us everywhere we wanted to go on the Antrim coast leaving from Derry. We also asked him to drive us to Dublin. I have recommended him to friends who are also impressed. We had three different drivers with a different company and they were very good but Diarmuid was by far the best. And his luxury Mercedes is superb. Over the two days he got to know all five of us, and we got to know him and learned about his life in Derry from the Troubles through today. So your journey with Diarmuid will be a personal one and full of wonderful memories.

5.00This tour was a highlight of our trip to Northern Ireland. Diarmuid is an absolute gem. He knows a ton about the area and he was an engaging teacher. He was flexible and added an unplanned stop to cater to our interests. By the end of the day, we felt like we had made a new friend - certainly someone we'd reach out to on a future trip, but also someone we'd be happy to meet up with outside of the context of a tour - just to grab a drink or a meal and catch up.

5.00Bishop’s Gate Hotel recommended Legendary Chuffeur, and Diarmuid was an incredible guide to Rathmullan, Wild Ireland, Giants Causeway, and much more, and then to Dublin. Diarmuid’s assistance finding our family he in Rathmullan was invaluable. He was knowledgeable about the history of Derry and Donegal, spoke to us extensively about the history of Northern Ireland, the Troubles, Derry architecture, murals, etc. We will definitely come back to Derry and ask for his help again. We felt so fortunate to benefit from his assistance, suggestions, and expertise.

5.00Our tour of the Causeway Coastal route was just amazing. Diarmuid is so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We had the best day to help with Dads 70th birthday celebration 🎉. The stops were all really interesting with beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend and worth every penny!

5.00We came to Ireland to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, there were 6 in our party. Diarmuid provided a full day tour visiting all the tourist sites and several more not frequented by tourists. He was prompt and attentive to every need and took care of EVERYTHING from reserving a window-side table with an ocean view for lunch to rescheduling admission to attractions. Diarmuid provided a wealth of information on the history of the area. He knew the ins and outs of visiting every place and the best timing. His Mercedes van was a luxury ride and he expertly navigated the windy roads. The next time we visit, we will definitely take another tour with Diarmuid. He was the best tour guide!

5.00We spent two wonderful days touring Northern Ireland with Diarmuid O’Donnel. We spent a day in Belfast learning about the city and it’s history with a focus on learning about the The Troubles. He then took us via Londonderry to the Giant’s Causeway and other points of interest (Game of Thrones sites) along the way. At all times his depth of knowledge, professionalism and good cheer made these 2 days very special.
