Spend a memorable day visiting what is undoubtedly Northern Ireland's most infamous attraction. Travel by coach on a journey you will remember for a lifetime, taking in the spectacular natural beauty that is the Antrim Coastal Road, Carrickfergus Castle, Portaneevy Viewing Point to see the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (Due to National Trust Staffing Issues they will not accept any coach or group bookings at present but we will be stopping for photographs), the Giant's Causeway, and the Game of Thrones locations, including the Dark Hedges plus much much more. This tour travels the entire coast road from Belfast which is a must-see area of outstanding natural beauty. Not all tours to the Causeway include this but is widely known to be best route to the causeway. To leave this out of your tour would be a big loss!!

Martin was an amazing guide and driver. He was funny and explained everything during the travel. We left on time and he drove safe.

Decent tour on the whole and good value for money given the discount I'd received on Booking.com. However lunch at The Hedges, which the driver promoted and is obviously on commission, was not good value! It comprised of a hot buffet where you basically get a plate full of food e.g. stew and mash for £16 each! He'd warned us against the cafe next door as the sandwiches are expensive but I bet they weren't that expensive. The driver, Lindsey, was informative but quite grumpy, and patronising when giving instructions of when to be back on the bus. It'd be good to have a bit longer at The Dark Hedges as we felt we had to shovel our lunch down and get walking to the trees. We only just had enough time and was clock watching. The Causeway was good. We had just over an hour at that stop. We were running slightly behind as the driver had left a passenger behind at The Hedges (after waiting for 15 minutes), which then had a knock on effect on the rest of the trip. Re the passenger being left behind, the driver had actually moved the coach whilst waiting, saying. "He'll have further to walk now", which we thought extremely mean. There wasn't much effort made to find the lost passenger, although to be fair, everyone else managed to get back on in the right place at the right time. Lastly, the drop off point afterwards was near City Hall, and NOT back at Allen's Tours office as advertised. This meant we had a longer walk to our hotel and not much time to get to our booked table at 6:30!

The tour is not direct, it is more like a collection of tours, they came collecting people from various points There is no guide, the driver does both functions, which is not good because there is no greater interaction with people The bus is old, the seats uncomfortable and the air conditioning did not work well, the driver/guide said he could not solve it, that was in offices Sometimes the sound worked, sometimes it didn't. 80% of what he said wasn't understood. There is no control of the people who carry, at several stops almost leaves some groups of people The driver-guide was a little rude, there were times when it seemed like he was repelling us and what he wanted was for it to end soon He didn't wait for us all to be seated to move forward and when we got to the final stop, he didn't wait or confirm that we were all down, it was literally our turn to get down at a traffic light Another thing that seemed wrong of me was that when he took us to the points of interest that were of nature he disparaged them, in Giant’s Causeway he said something like “I don’t understand why so much emotion happens to see a group of rocks”

Coach driver very good and very informative. Well worth the money and definitely recommend (although was disappointed that the rope bridge was not accessible.) The tour does not allow coaches to drive to rope bridge as they stopped coaches going there a couple of years ago, however our coach parked in a viewing area so you could take a picture. Instead of the rope bridge we were taken to the whisky distillery. With regards to the Giants Causeway you will need to walk 15 minutes down hill to see this, however there is a minibus which will take you down and back up for a £1 (however was not working on the day we went) -

Was a lovely day and was helped as we had the weather to fully enjoy this experience. Driver kept us entertained after joining us half way through following a problem for our first driver.

This tour felt very rushed throughout the day. I would have rather had less stops and be able to spend time at carrick-a-rede and be able to go over the bridge. There also seems a lot of time on the bus in one chunk getting from Carrickfergus Castle and the next stop. Again would have liked to have seen more of the castle and had time to go round Bushmills distillery, this stop you literally only had time for the gift shop. At the Dark hedges stop we were given a voucher for the set dinner which was quite expensive as you had to be very quick, it would have been nice to have been told there was a little pantry coffee shop where we could have chosen something lighter. The driver was very knowledgeable but did speak a lot about the religion and politics of the country, I felt this would have been better to speak more about other history and special interests item as I have previously experienced on a similar tour of the coast of Antrim.
