Spend a memorable day visiting what is undoubtedly Northern Ireland's most infamous attraction. Travel by coach on a journey you will remember for a lifetime, taking in the spectacular natural beauty that is the Antrim Coastal Road, Carrickfergus Castle, Portaneevy Viewing Point to see the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (Due to National Trust Staffing Issues they will not accept coaches or group bookings but we are supporting our local community), the Giant's Causeway, and the Game of Thrones locations, including the Dark Hedges and we even do a visit to the Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery for a chance to buy a whiskey and take some photos plus much much more. This tour travels the entire coast road from Belfast which is a must-see area of outstanding natural beauty. Not all tours to the Causeway include this but is widely known to be the best route to the Causeway. To leave this out of your tour would be a big loss!! Before we return to Belfast we will have a chance to see Dunluce castle

  • An unforgettable nature tour experience

This tour was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Visiting The Dark Hedges was incredible — atmospheric, mysterious, and truly iconic. The stop at the distillery was another highlight; the whisky was delicious and tasting it was very well done. Giant’s Causeway was simply spectacular — magical, unique, and unlike anything else. Every stop felt special and perfectly timed. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the most impressive and memorable places in Northern Ireland.

We really enjoyed our tour and very good value. Out from 9.30 am until 6 pm. Our driver Mark was very knowledgeable. Very friendly girl at their office, sorry I didn't get her name.

Wonderful, full day tour with Marty as our driver and guide. He gave great information along the way and we were able to see so much. Thank you!

Our trip to the giants Causeway, which also included The Dark Hedges, Bushmill’s Distillery and other places of interest was very enjoyable. Scenery along the costal road was stunning. Lesley the driver and guide was very informative and managed to keep everyone punctual returning to the coach at each location, some of the stops were a little short on time but considering the itinerary we managed to cover a lot of ground in the day. This trip was very good value

    1. Contacted vendor regarding meeting point question. Vendor was rude. 2. Bus was very late. 3. The bus was in poor condition. The air conditioner did not work and referring to the bus as luxurious is false advertisement. 4. We arrived at the 1st stop (castle) but were told driver couldn’t park so we couldn’t get off the bus. Driver could have let us off and picked us up instead of not letting us visit the castle. 5. One point of interest was not even mentioned.

  • Poorly organised!

The time table of the entire trip was not properly mentioned on the app. My trip was with Allen travels and it was a hot summer day, the AC was not at all working on the coach. That's 8 hours without AC. The Hedges Hotel they took us to, of course was unpaid but the food there was horrible as well. Overall, it was poorly organised.

The whole tour was fun and filled with fun facts of Ireland. We were impressed with the driver. The only thing it was hot on the bus.

  • Dangerous driving and a company that don’t care

Tour was bad on so many levels - mostly related to the driver. On a hot day he kept his window open so that he had a nice breeze. Unfortunately (as noted in a sticker next to his head) this meant the air conditioning didn’t work meaning the rest of us were hot and uncomfortable. His driving itself was dangerous with three specific examples which we could see clearly since we were in the front seats. 1) he blatantly drove straight through a red light; 2) he made a phone call (not hands-free) whilst negotiating narrow country roads at some speed; 3) he overtook a lorry (on a slightly wider road) when there was clearly not room to do so, nearly going straight into an oncoming car. A major collision was only averted by the car and lorry braking sharply - the lorry driver making it clear what he thought with a loud blast of his horn. I emailed Allen’s tours about this - and a couple of other issues - but they haven’t responded. Giant’s Causeway is worth the trip - but avoid going with this company.

The tour was good and we got to see a lot. We and quite a few others couldn't hear the tour guide at all on the coach. We all mentioned it but it kept not working and the sound was awful. Maybe invest in updating it? Didn't need 30 minutes at the distillery as not much to do and we felt rushed having our lunch.
