The Rock of Gibraltar
The Rock of Gibraltar is a monolithic limestone promontory located in the British territory of Gibraltar, near the southwestern tip of Europe on the Iberian Peninsula. It is 426 m high. Most of the Rock's upper area is covered by a nature reserve, which is home to around 300 Barbary macaques
Gibraltar
Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory and headland, on Spain's south coast. It’s dominated by the Rock of Gibraltar, a 426m-high limestone ridge. First settled by the Moors in the middle Ages and later ruled by Spain, the outpost was ceded to the British in 1713. Layers of fortifications include the remains of a 14th-century Moorish Castle and the 18th century Great Siege Tunnels, which were expanded in WWII

5.00From the start having just completed the booking to end of the tour it was a really great experience. From quickly agreeing on pick-up time with very clear directions on how to meet to exactly how to interact with the monkeys was really solid. Very engaging descriptions of everything on the tour and good balance between driving and stops with time to walk around. Of course what the kids truly loved was to be able to really interact with the monkeys. Extra plus for the flexibility in finding alternative stops when part of the tour was closed.

5.00Carl was our guide on the Extended Tour three days ago. He is very knowledgeable and a great communicator. We learned so much about Gibraltar and Gibraltarians from him during our tour. He also very kindly posed our toy monkey with the real monkeys so that the grandchildren back home could see the photos. We were so glad that we’d chosen this private tour, it was the highlight of our trip.

5.00We had a fantastic full-day tour around Gibraltar as a family, and it couldn’t have been better. Our guide was kind, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. The car was beautifully kept and incredibly comfortable, ideal for a relaxed and enjoyable day. He expertly whisked us away from the usual crowds, taking us to quieter spots and giving us plenty of time to enjoy the views, history, and of course, the famous monkeys - up close and personal! What really stood out was the care and effort he put into making the experience enjoyable for everyone. One member of our group was temporarily using a walking aid, and our guide made every accommodation possible to ensure he still had an amazing time. A brilliant, thoughtful tour - highly recommended for anyone wanting a richer, more personal look at Gibraltar.

5.00We had a nice trip with Carl, who is very experienced and took good care of us on a hot day with two small kids. If you want to visit the major points of interest, we recommend doing the "Extended tour". It was convenient; we still had enough time to visit the St. Michael's Cave, the Skywalk, the 100 Ton Gun, Europa Point, and the Great Siege Tunnels in 2 hours and 45 minutes. Carl did some great pictures in the right spots, so we can remember this tour for a very long time!

5.00A fabulous 2 and a half hour experience with a local (4th generation) guide. He was a wealth of information and always made sure we were ahead of the crowds. ( we did a private group of 4)

5.00Our tour guide was Carl. He was tremendous and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Gibraltar. It is a bit expensive but trying to do it yourself would be difficult.
The efficienty of our guide and his knowledge of Gibraltar was the best.

5.00Our Private Tour with Dale was One of the best experiences ever. He was knowledgeable, very funny and made the whole tour interesting. His interaction with the Barbary Apes was incredible which enabled us to have interaction but respecting their space, The 100 Ton Gunp, Europa Point, the Skywalk and the Great Siege Tunnels all amazing, Highly recommend doing a Private Tour. Worth every penny.
