What To Expect
Giraffe Centre
Our driver will come to pick you from your Nairobi hotel or residency 8AM then drives you to Giraffe center. Here you see the magnificent creatures and learn why they are endangered. You will also learn their behaviors, traits and more conservation education. To cap the visit, you get the chance to feed them under the supervision of a trained staff member
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
The next stop will be elephant orphanage which is only open from 11AM – 12Noon. Here you will learn more about the baby elephants and what led them to be orphans. You will get more information on raising them and the efforts being made to re-introduce them back to the wilderness

5.00Our guide picked us up directly from our hotel and got us safely and on time to all stops on the tour. We greatly enjoyed the giraffes, elephants, and bead center. It was a good day trip in Nairobi.

5.00Everything about this tour was amazing. My driver, Titus, communicated with me the morning of and confirmed pick up time. He arrived on time! He drove our small group in the van safely. At the giraffe center, we were the first ones to arrive. It wasn’t busy so there were great opportunities for pictures! The elephant orphanage was nice and the bead center was inspiring. Buying beads goes to a great cause for Kenyan women who are widowed/single. Thank you Titus and hope to join you again in the future. Highly recommend!

5.00Nice tour, driver was friendly, and the tour itself was very good. I was afraid to have only 1 hour to do the Giraffes, but to be honest, 1h is more than enough, it's amazing but it's very small with just a few Giraffes to feed. However it could be better to notice the customer 1 day earlier the exact pick up time: - Since I booked weeks ago, it's good to "break up the silence" and make customers sure the company will really do the tour. - I asked the day before for the confirmation via Viator platform, they didn't answer here - Hopefully I was 15min. earlier waiting for the tour, and then in a minute the driver already arrived - The next passengers in another hotel booked for 8h30 (at least they stated that to me), and we arrived there at 8h00. Luckily, they were already prepared, so we delayed only 10 minutes (apart this delay not being a problem, since we still had to wait 30 minutes in a souvenir shop since the Giraffe center opens only at 9h00).
