Alistair was very good and polite. He explained the history of scotland in a very admirable way. His Driving was smooth and very good and his playlist of scottish song were also nice. Overall the trip was a memorable experience for me and my friend. Timber Bush travel is highly recommended for people who want to visit scotland.

Wonderful experience! Alistair was an amazing host, he started the tour right with Glasgow’s history and gave nuances about the places we passed by. Since the group size was small, there wasn’t any fuss about delays or others causing unnecessary trouble.

Our tour to Glencoe, Glenfinnan and Fort William was excellent. The scenery was beautiful and very diverse. Glenfinnan was interesting and there were great views of the monument and lake as well as the viaduct from the viewpoint up the hill. The Glencoe area was majestic. Fort William was interesting. Would liked to have a little more time there to explore more of the town. Our guide Callum was very informative and gave us lots of history of the areas we travelled. He had a great playlist of songs as we travelled through the different areas. Luss village that we visited on the way back was beautiful and charming. I would highly recommend this day trip out of Glasgow.

Great tour with lots of beautiful scenery and plentiful photo stops. We lucked out with weather and had a gorgeous day. Plan on 12 hours rather than the 10.5 mentioned in the description, if that matters to you. Jerry was great and gave us a mix of commentary, music, and humor. Would recommend this tour for those short on time and wanting to see some of the highlands.

I wrote this review but posted it on the wrong site. Trip was on 22nd April 2026 Glenfinnan and Fort William… Went to Glenfinnan and Fort William through Glencoe and Rannoch moor. The driver was Callum and honestly couldn’t have wished for a better one. He was friendly and polite, stopped for photo opportunities, was informative about places and didn’t rush anyone. He made the long trip special and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Callum

Jack made our tour absolutely unforgettable! He was hilarious, engaging, and packed the tour with so much interesting information and local history. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and his energy made the entire experience even better. On top of that, he recommended an outstanding restaurant that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. If you get the chance to tour with Jack, do it — you’ll have a fantastic time and leave with great memories!

Jack had a great sense of humour and kept everyone entertained throughout the journey. He also shared lots of interesting information and stories during the drive, which made the long ride more enjoyable. The bus itself was comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned, which was appreciated during such a long day of travelling. That being said, I was quite disappointed with some aspects of this tour. One of the main reasons I booked it was to see and take photos at iconic spots like the Skyfall location and the wee white house, but we only drove past them without stopping in those exact iconic spots. It was frustrating to travel all those hours, be right there, and not even have the opportunity to recreate those photos. The entire day also felt very rushed. The itinerary clearly stated 90-minute stops at Glenfinnan Viaduct and Fort William, but in reality we were only given 60 minutes at each location. That makes a huge difference. At Glenfinnan, the viewpoints are far apart, and by the time I was reaching the bridge area, we had to head back. Because of this, I never got the chance to properly explore the area or take photos from below the viaduct. On top of that, there are queues for toilets and food, which easily take 10–15 minutes alone. In a 60-minute stop, it’s impossible to use the facilities, grab something to eat, and actually enjoy the scenery without rushing. The same thing happened in Fort William. We were again given only 60 minutes. By the time you walk from the bus station to the restaurants, you’re already losing valuable time. We ended up having to pick one of the first restaurants we saw instead of actually exploring the town, because otherwise we would not have had enough time to eat and return. We had to rush through the meal and hurry back to the bus. The rush was not nice, especially since our group was always punctual. Every time we were told when to return, everyone was back on time, so delays from passengers were not the issue. Overall, the scenery was beautiful and the guide was enjoyable, but the experience felt far too rushed and did not match the timings advertised in the itinerary.

Even though it rained most of the trip it didn’t dampen the beautiful scenery and the knowledgeable and very entertaining guide, Blair.
