To be honest, I was not sure what to expect from Glasgow in general, and taking the tour with Martin was an eye opening experience in terms of how awesome Glasgow is. Although it is not a city that is typically beautiful at first glance, like Edinburgh, Glasgow is so much more than what you see at first. This is a city that draws you in with charm and character, a vibrant urban scene, warm people, and architecture that beautifully combines the new with the old. Overall, the vibe of the city is amazing. We pedaled around a wide area of the city, and I got to see a pretty large part of it. We cycled by the river and crossed the Squinty Bridge, we stopped along the way at The Clydeside Whisky Distillery, we saw the Tall Ship Glenlee, and we popped into the Riverside Museum. We also stopped to see the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and we cycled to the courtyard of the University of Glasgow, where many prominent figures completed their studies. Martin also took me to Ashton Lane, which is a charming street in the West End of Glasgow. All in all, as we cycled through the city, I was discovering different layers of this exciting town that I could not imagine being so interesting from so many different perspectives. I highly recommend this tour, and Martin was definitely not just a guide, he was a true local host. A great way to get to know Glasgow, and on an e-bike it is really easy to move around.

Excellent way to see Glasgow. The hosts were completely attentive to the needs of the group all the way through. Excellent value for money at almost three hours for a tour, and we were able to see many parts of Glasgow, its culture and all while getting the health benefits and endorphins from cycling around the place. The bikes were well serviced and the lead was extremely knowledgeable. Will definitely recommend to anyone new to Glasgow, and also people like me who (thought they) knew it well already!

What a wonderful way to see a city. My tour guide Oliver was amazing. His knowledge of the city was outstanding. He skillfully guided us through the city stopping at numerous points of interest and allowing us numerous photographic opportunities.

We did the hop on hop off bus like we usually do in a new city to get the lay of the land. Honestly, we didn’t find that much in Glasgow that interested us. We did the bike tour and I’m so glad! The guide took us to places we hadn’t seen so it was really interesting and fun definitely would recommend this bike tour!

Under the very professional and enthusiastic guidance of Stuart made a bike ride through Glasgow. In addition to a small whisky tasting at the Clydeside Distillery, original grandmother’s cookies were also treated along the way. Literally the highlight was the University of Glasgow with a wonderful view of the city. Of course, the city is too big to see everything in 3.5 hours, but we got a very good impression of how the city has developed over the last decades.

Fantastic experience! Our guide, Stu, was great. He grew up in Glasgow and clearly knows the city very well. Lots of history and humorous anecdotes. Riding was easy - bikes were very comfortable and route easy to navigate for all skill levels. 100% recommend to everyone visiting Glasgow.

It was a fantastic bike tour. Because I routinely take a bike tour when I travel to new cities, I have experienced what good looks like. Martin was a terrific guide, making sure the pace was right for the group and ensuring everyone was safe and hydrated. He clearly has perfected his route through the Westside of Glasgow for he stopped and discussed many highlights but avoided staying too long at any one spot. He had local snacks which provided opportunity for more learning. I was able to pin drop many locations to go back to for further enjoyment. He was very patient, answering any questions and then sending follow up communication with links and info about topics from the tour. I also had a late lunch at a restaurant he recommended - it was a gem which I would not have known about otherwise. Check out this tour. It was a lot of fun. Keep in mind Glasgow is hilly so get the eBike if you are concerned.

We had an excellent first time E-bike tour with our guide Stuart. Everything from the itinerary (saw a great variety), to the cheerful attitude, to the Granny snacks really worked for us. Stuart’s historical and cultural narrative gave a nice overview of Glasgow. Bikes were lightweight and easy to use.
