Lukla
Lukla is a small mountain town in Nepal, famous as the gateway to the Everest region. Located at an altitude of 2,860 meters (9,383 feet), it’s home to the Tenzing-Hillary Airport, one of the most thrilling airstrips in the world. Most trekkers heading to Everest Base Camp start their journey here. Despite its remote location, Lukla has teahouses, shops, and basic services catering to trekkers and climbers.
Phakding
Phakding is a small village in the Khumbu region of Nepal, situated at 2,610 meters (8,563 feet) along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River. It’s the first overnight stop for most trekkers heading from Lukla to Everest Base Camp. Surrounded by pine forests and mountain views, Phakding offers teahouses, lodges, and a peaceful atmosphere to rest and acclimatize before continuing the trek.

Adventure Bound, with Rabin Magar as Guide. An amazing Guide - always looking for ways to help and accomodate us as an elderly group. Even had his porters and himself sing happy birthday to the 71 year old on her birthday. Such a helpful, kind and always aware of each persons need for help. When we left kathmandu at 2am to travel for four hours to the airport to fly to Lukla he showed care and guidance, from that day through to the 17th day when we flew back and celebrated the trek with a dinner. Well done Rabin and also Adventure Bound Pvt, you all looked after us.

We had an absolutely unforgettable trek to Gokyo Lakes in Nepal! From the moment we engaged Mr. Laxman, he made the whole process smooth, fulfilled our last-minute flight changes, and promptly answered our never-ending inquiries. We couldn't be more satisfied; the whole trip was perfectly organized and executed. Our amazing guide, Raman, went above and beyond to ensure our well-being throughout the whole trekking experience. He showed exceptional patience, cared for our daily nutrition, was attentive to our needs, and kept our spirits high. Without his support and our porter, Bikash, it wouldn't have been possible to have such a memorable trekking experience. Adventure Bound and the team provide exceptional hospitality, and I highly recommend this company and Raman for anyone planning a trek in Nepal.

I love climbing mountains and have ever been to various mountains including foreign countries but this trip was the most rememberable and impressive adventure for me. I was touched by not only Himalaya 8000m level peaks (Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Gyachung Kang) but also my guide's kindness and positiveness. I also appreciate expeditious and consistent supports by Adventure Bound company members.

After a short stay at agency owner Laxman Aryal's Madhuban Hotel in Kathmandu, I made the Gokyo Valley Trek up to the 5,357-high peak of Gokyo Ri in the period from October 7 to 17. That this succeeded and became a unique experience that I will never forget was due to the always prudent, forward-looking and dedicated support of my guide Rai Bhakta. Rai took care of it along the way (guidance, accommodations, meals) so that I could fully engage in the impressive, incredible scenery under almost cloudless skies throughout the tour. The Porter Goylas also ensured that my "heavy luggage" always reached all intermediate stages in time. A big thank you goes to the agency owner Laxman Aryal, who was always approachable during the day in Kathmandu and also during the trek with questions, supported to the best of his ability and provided valuable advice. Adventure Bound was recommended to me in advance. I can only pass on the recommendation without restriction. Namaste and thank you to the whole team!

5 years ago I was already on the road with Adventurebound and Raj as a guide. This year again and everything worked out fine again. During the planning, our wishes were taken into account (including the wish to have Raj as a guide again), on arrival in Nepal we were warmly welcomed and picked up, on the way our needs were taken into account. Unfortunately I had to stop the tour before Everest area because of altitude sickness. Again Raj correctly assessed the situation, descended with me and when things did not improve despite descending and several medications, he decided that I now have to be flown by helicopter to KTM. Raj and the Argentur has set everything in motion. For me, it would have been unimaginable to take care of it. Hope that no one will suffer from altitude sickness but only to show that you would be well looked after in this case! The Gokyo Lakes & Gokyo Ri were the absolute highlight. Beautiful trekking that can be highly recommended. Now again to Raj (Guide): he does an excellent job. It recognizes when someone is a little weaker on a day and helps to simplify the person's day as much as possible (jokes, is motivating or helps to carry the daypack). His goal is for everyone to make the tour and the well-being of the customers is also important to him. He was the only guide in the teahouses who played games with us in the evening. My next trek in Nepal I would like to do again only with Raj. Thanks for everything!

We went on the gokyo-EBC trek with Adventurebound and our lovely guide Raji!! The hike was tough but awesome and pretty good organized. We had a good connection with our guide Raji and he helped us out everytime weve got a question or a problem. He knew the treks, the best teahouses and weatherconditions very good and was good experienced so we felt comfortable with him all the time. I also felt like he had a personal interest in us doing well, different to other guides of other groups. I would totally go hiking with Raji again and im totally happy with my experience with him and Adventurebound!!:)

Being a group of three, we went onto a 15 day trip. First Everest Base camp, then over the Cho La Pass into the Gokyo valley. Organisation was perfect, and the company was helpful and competent in answering all of our question ahead of the trip. The chosen track left enough time to accommodate to the high altitute levels, allowing for breathtaking views onto the mountains. What we liked most were crossing Cho La Pass and the view from Gokyo Ri onto the wealth of 4 mountains 8.000+ metres high. Our guide Rabin was most friendly, funny, but always on top of things. He was always at our side, and we felt taken care of. He listened to what we had in mind and built it into the day's planning. Our porters, Deep & Ram, were most reliable and friendly. Accommodations were simple yet clean, and food was great. In a nutshell: perfect organisation, we would always repeat.

An Amazing Guide Rabin Magar, Porters Tara and Dugar. Rabin was thoughtful, helpful, encouraging. Our pick up and drop off by Adventure Bound went beyond expectations-our flight was late arriving and there was a two hour hold up going through arrivals and our man was still standing out in the heat waiting (twice) two different flights. Rabin always tried his hardest to get us good accommodation and help us when choosing our meals. We walked this from 18 October 2019 and we had three places we stayed two nights for acclimatisation - beautiful weather - snow from Dingbouche through to base camp and back to Lobouche-stunning days and views. Rabin was also very mindful that we were not young and gave us the attention of someone very mindful of his responsibilities. Well done RABIN MAGAR and ADVENTURE BOUND pvt.
