Learn to stand-up-paddleboard (SUP) and explore the Pumicestone Passage and Bribie Island National Park surrounds with this 1-hour stand up paddle board hire. Paddleboard the crystal clear waters of the Pumicestone Passage at high tide and/or visit the many sandbars at low-tide. Feel like an explorer as you discover new beaches and lagoons where only boaters and very keen swimmers can venture. See what wildlife you can spot on the trip: stingrays, soldier crabs, kangaroos, turtles, dolphins and a myriad of sea birds. If you'd like to adventure for more than one hour, the staff at Golden Beach Hire are happy to discuss further ventures you can take on the water, sandbars and islands for anywhere from one-hour to a full-day of adventuring.

What To Expect
Explore the pristine waterways of the Pumicestone Passage. If it is your first time paddling or you're a beginner, let the staff know and they can teach you some easy to understand techniques to have you paddling in no time. Choose to stay close to the business, explore secluded sandbars, go for a walk on the island, go for a long exercise paddle or any combination of the above.

5.00Had a great 1 hr SUP. My wife and I had never tried previously so don’t let that put you off having a go. A quick few minutes explaining what to do and off we went. Managed not to fall off so that was a positive. Nice quiet location and plenty of shallow water for you to practice in.

5.002 adults and 2 small kids (4 and 7). Carl and Nicky were super friendly and patient as this was our first time doing SUP. It was a great experience and we will be doing more of this in the near future. We all enjoyed it and the older one had a go at it. She loved it and keen to try it again. Will highly recommend them.

5.00This was our first time SUP-ing and we loved it! Carl gave us a helpful and quick instructional session and we were underway after that. Even though the forecast was overcast with a little drizzle, this made for the perfect experience. The water was calm and glassy (easy conditions to work out where our balance was on the boards) and there were no shadows to worry about when taking photos when we stopped on the sand bar. Booking process was quick and easy. An excellent experience all around!

5.00We came unprepared, but it wasn’t a problem, we were lent a dry bag and waterproof watch free of charge. Friendly service, informative, helpful. Suggested other places to visit in the area. Gave great instruction before we set off and even stayed to check we reached the island. Cant recommend enough!
