Your private guide will pick you up directly from your hotel or designated pickup point in Reykjavík in a comfortable private vehicle. After a short introduction, you’ll begin your journey into Iceland’s famous Golden Circle.
Thingvellir National Park
The first stop is Þingvellir National Park, one of Iceland’s most important historical and geological landmarks. Here, you will walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates while learning about the site of Iceland’s first parliament, Althingi. The park also offers impressive views of lava fields, cliffs, and surrounding lakes, with time for short walks and photos.

5.00Mathew, the owner/operator, who also is an incredible guide, was tremendous. From booking to delivery as well the follow-up of the Golden Circle experience was simply fantastic! CarBuddy, he and his girlfriend's growing company, delivered a grand experience. My wife and I have traveled the world, literally, and have toured with numerous companies associated with virtually every service -- CarBuddy is right up at the top. Matt was responsive to our communications and flexible in his delivery. Service to his customers is the highest priority. No detail is missed from fine pictures to follow -through after the complete day of great site-seeing around the Golden Circle. Matt even arranged very early morning transport for us to the airport. 5.00Had a brilliant day on this tour. From initial booking to the tour itself communication was great and we were well looked after. Chose the tour so we had time as a family and our guide, Thomas, was very good at both sharing his knowledge but also at giving us time to explore at our own pace. There was no hurry or rush to get on from place to another and we learned so much from him about Iceland's history and modern day life. Would highly recommend.
