Golf carts are a significant form of transportation in Tropical Paradises. Compared to a car, they are lighter, cheaper, environmentally friendlier, safer and slower, allowing you to take in sights leisurely. Nobody goes 50 mph in the tropics, anyway!

The website description said the 6-seat cart has seat belts which it did not. The booking form asked if we wanted the cart delivered to the port which we said yes, but we learned upon arrival that this company is not allowed into the port. We had to walk out of the port to pick up the cart. The brakes were poor. The engine would not start unless the gas petal was fully depressed and then the cart would lurch because of the high engine RPM. I own a golf cart and know that the rental was not operating properly. I would not rent from this firm again.

Easy and friendly. Cart worked well and was comparable to others on the island quality wise. Had a fun time driving around the island, seeing donkeys up close, go to the lighthouse and explore the more remote beaches away from the crowds. No complaints.

Paradise Carts was easy to find outside the gates of the main port at Grand Turk. They had a list with my name on it and the cart was ready to go. It was about a 10 to 15 minute walk to get to them from the dock.

I didn't realize when I booked our golf cart through Paradise Carts, that it was located OUTSIDE of the cruise port. The only ones I saw inside were Roscos. This was a bit of a walk and it wasn't well marked. When we found the vendor, the person working wasn't friendly or very helpful. The golf carts for Paradise definitely appear older than a lot of the other vendors as well. I'm not sure what I expected of the island, having only visited the port area before, but I didn't expect it to be so dirty and poorly maintained. Even the beaches on the other side of the island were well kept at all. We took the cart to the light house and the views were fantastic. I also loved seeing the donkeys everywhere. Overall, I'm glad we did this once, but it wasn't what I hoped when I read so many positive reviews.

I’d look elsewhere. Carts were old, creaked and squeaked , backfired and didn’t go any faster than riding a bike. The people were less than friendly.

Horrible experience. We spent $200 and the first cart made it across the island and then broke down. We received a replacement cart and that was just as bad. The brakes didn't work and we almost went through an intersection and then the cart barely picked up speed to return to port. We only spent 2 hours on the island. Carts are not maintained. Should be able to give less than one star.

We rented this golf cart prior to leaving for our cruise. This golf cart is older and didn't run as fast as the other golf cart another family rented. They had to pull over and wait on us several times.

I don’t NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! The website is very very misleading! You do not pick your cart up at the port it’s about a mile walk to reach the destination! And then the crap show starts the carts are old and beat up gasoline burner that are on empty when you pick it up and they would like for you to put a gallon of gas back in it! I waited 30 minutes for them to do paperwork and put air in the tires! Rent the carts from Carnival!

I got off a Carnival Cruise ship on Sept 17, 2024 at 10am and picked up the reserved cart from Paradise Carts. I paid the extra chard for 4 adults to have a 6 person cart so we would have plenty of space and power when booking at a price of $278.48. At Check in, just outside the gates of the Port, the worker was kind of a jerk. I mentioned to him at that time I wanted a faster golf cart due to experiences in other locations and islands. He kind of blew me off and then gave my husband a phone number in case we had any issues. We got in the cart and made our way to the light house (making 1 stop on the way for a soda and took a side road to see the water). The cart got slower and slower as we drove. We got to the light house and stayed about 20 mins then headed back down the same road to check out other parts of the island and broke down. The phone number given would not work or I wasn't given info on how to make a call on the island. Thankfully a passing tourist/Carnival guest that I had spoke to at a previous stop was kind enough to stop and took my husband back to Paradise Carts to get us a new cart. We waited about an hour on the side of the road. The smaller 4 person cart was much faster and better than the more expensive cart I paid for. On returning to the Paradise carts and asking the same guy from check in for a refund for the difference between the 6 person cart and the 4 person cart he gave me a smart ass responses like "BUT did the second cart work" and I couldn't believe it. He only wanted to take me serious when I said ok let me take your picture for the reviews. I am not someone who usually makes negative reviews but his attitude was so dismissive. I have reached out to [email protected] and turksandcaicosgolfcarts.com asking for my refund and No response. The price difference might be $75 but it is the principle. I work hard for my money and should get what i paid for. I am not asking for a free use of the golf cart. But NO RESPONSE! So beware of this company. PS To top if off the guy who was nice enough to take my husband back to get us a replacement cart said he had the same issue with Paradise Carts in the past and would not use them again. He has been to the island several times. Feel free to reach out to me if you would like more info. On a positive note, buy the carrots at the light house for the donkeys. It was the best part of the trip and I feed them as we sat on the side of the road.

Exactly as described and had a great time. The cart pick-up area is just outside the gates of the cruise terminal, so I really appreciated the email received a week or so in advance that detailed exactly where to go. Gas cart, came fueled up, clean, and ready to roll, no issues during the drive. It's a great place to explore and many beaches, shops, and spots to check out. Felt surprisingly safe to operate a low speed vehicle here - other vehicles generally passed safely and other than the occasional pedestrian, bicycle, or donkey :) not too busy.
