Fun tour with a lot of tastings, so be ready to eat. While I liked a majority of the food, there were a few tastings that were not for me.

This is a MUST! With Penang being the food capital of Malaysia, I wanted to explore all the food it had to offer but was a bit overwhelmed. This tour allows you to learn and try THE best. Our guide, Lee was amazing and it was such a great way to try Georgetown. Would recommend to anyone visiting Penang!!

One of the best food tours we have ever done! Lee-Ann was very friendly and knowledgeable, and her passion for the local culture and food was evident throughout. We got to try 16 different tastings, each unique, and some (at least according to us) were exceptionally good, such as the Char Koay Kai and Chee Cheong Fun from street food stalls. I definitely recommend it to everyone visiting George Town.

While Grace was sweet and informative and the places we went were all Michelin Bib approved, we would have liked more ethnic variation. We understand it was a holiday but why ALL Chinese? Even an Indian break would have been appreciated. Also Grace…. TMI!! Love ya honey, but we needed a break to just eat and think. Too much talk of stuff we didn’t need to know. Food was all good, great choices and tons of it. Long walk to and from cruise ship- would have been nice to end it closer rather than the furthest point. Still a great day!

This is not the first food walking tour we’ve done in Penang, but it was the best. Maybe it was the group, definitely it was the food, but what made it stand out was our guide Lee-Ann.
