Our guide, Lee-Anne, was incredibly warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about both the local history and the foods we were trying. We sampled over 15 different dishes, each one delicious and thoughtfully chosen. It was such a great way to explore Penang and get to know which places to come back to later. The tour was perfectly curated with just the right amount of food, well-paced, and really well organised. I’d highly recommend this to anyone visiting Penang!

Fantastic food tour! Ken was an amazing guide who shared not only delicious tastings but also the stories and history behind each dish. It was fascinating to learn how the foods are made and how different cultures shaped Penang’s cuisine. Every stop offered something unique — from sweet treats to noodles and spicy local dishes. The food was so good that we went back and revisited some of the places the next day! Definitely don’t eat before the tour; there’s a lot to try and you’ll be happily stuffed by the end. A must-do experience for anyone wanting to taste and understand the real Penang!
