Really great experience and ken our host was very helpful and knowledgeable. Make sure you go very hungry as x15 stops and within each stop you get multiple food options! Really liked the fact I tried loads of new oriental foods and a lot of these places we would of never gone in on our own so was a fabulous way to try new things

What a fantastic introduction and insight into Chinese food in Penang. Lian took us to a good mix of different food establishments where we got to try a really diverse and interesting selection of local dishes. The food was all super tasty - my only regret was I couldn't finish everything! My absolute favourite was the Hianese Chicken Rice - I've never had such tender and flavoursome chicken before! If you're visiting Penang for the first time this is also a great tour to do to get a look at a side of the old town you might not otherwise find. And every dish was accompanied by a detailed explanation with a good dose of history thrown in too. Highly recommended!

Lovely few hours in good company. Lee-Ann is a great guide, gave lots of background information and is clearly proud of Penang’s (food) culture. Great mix of dishes too.

This was the perfect way to start our trip in George Town! I did the tour with my two daughters, and it was a great introduction to the city’s history, culture, and foods. Our tour guide, Lee-Ann, was incredibly knowledgeable very passionate about food. She made sure that we were well-looked after and brought a lot of fun and laughter to the experience. Highly recommend!
