Sandy Oh was a terrific guide for the morning food tour. She was full of great information for both the food we tasted and the shops we visited. Just remember to pace yourself since there is a lot of food to try! I highly recommend this tour for any first time visitors to Penang.

Grace was a fantastic guide for showing us the varied foods of Penang. It said to come hungry, and they weren’t kidding! A great way to try different foods while being told exactly what we were tasting.

Wonderful guide (Lee-Ann) who encouraged us to try many new dishes without being pushy. Great selection and order and walking distances just right for a leg stretch.

We spent a fantastic morning with our food tour expert Lee-Ann. After a few mins, it was like we had known here for years. She was full of knowledge and taught us all about the origins of each dish along the way and answered any questions we had. Definitely skip breakfast before going on this tour as even if you do not quite like every dish that is on offer, you will still be finishing with a full stomach. Highly recommend going on this tour to give you a better understanding of the food in Penang while touring the local area.

Lea-Ann was an incredible guide on this food tour — the history of each dish, establishment, and cuisine style was so helpful and interesting; we learned so much! She also made every stop feel so easy and relaxed (no small feat when a food stall is popular). It was the perfect pace for anyone who wants to try a wide variety of dishes without any food fatigue! It was well-balanced, the food was terrific, and we enjoyed her company immensely. We would recommend this tour to anybody who wants to dip into the incredibly extensive range of George Town food options!

Sandy kept us moving as about as humanly possible while stuffed to the gills, with plenty of facts and local culture. She kept track of all of our palates and picked up nuances/shared anecdotes as we reacted to different dishes. This was an excellent overview of the food around Georgetown. I ended up ordering something afterwards for dinner that I'd had on the tour. Wish I'd have started my holiday in town with this.

Brilliant tour by Lee-Ann. We learnt so much and were absolutely stuffed by the end of it. Well worth the price. She was sure to take care of allergens which takes the stress out of things. Lasted just over 4 hours and we tasted so many dishes we lost count - remember to pace yourself!
