A tour to take your time discovering the villages and iconic charm of the Luberon, including Gordes, a perched and authentic village listed among the most beautiful villages in France.
You will stop at Sénanque Abbey, built in the 12th century, a true haven of peace surrounded by lavender fields.
You will also visit the magnificent ochre trail of Roussillon, a site of ochre extraction where you will discover all its secrets (Ochre trail entry included). Then, stroll through the village of Roussillon, bordered by ochre cliffs shaped by nature and humankind, where you can enjoy your lunch break (time included in the village visit).
Finally, your day will end in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, where you will discover the refreshing, bubbling waters of the Sorgue, a fascinating and crystal-clear river. You can also learn about traditional papermaking techniques, just as they were in the 15th century, powered by its watermill.

Photo stop at the viewpoint of the perched village and lanscapes of Luberon. Then visit of the village and free time in the alleys (local market every Tuesday morning)

5.00A very enjoyable day visiting beautiful hilltop villages of the Luberon with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. The pace of the day was perfect, we saw just enough to ensure we could appreciate each village and enjoy lunch. Florine was an excellent guide who shared history of the village, the region and of France. A wonderful day and I highly recommend this tour.

The places we visited were beautiful and Florine ensured we learnt the important and interesting facts about each place. The pace was perfect, not to rushed with just the right amount of time at each place and enough time to enjoy lunch in Roussillon. A great way to see the Luberon!
