Island of Goree

3km from Dakar appears the island of Goree, small in size and large in history. Witness of 3 centuries of slavery, Gorée is classified world cultural heritage by UNESCO, accessible thanks to a boat with multiple rotations. The first attraction of the island is the slave house, the last slave in Goree from which millions of slaves were deported to American plantations. Lunch planned in Goree. Afternoon: visit of the districts of the SDF (without financial difficulties), the place of the independence, the national assembly, the cathedral of Dakar, the Great mosque, the old railway station, the presidential palace, the market of Kermel: spices, fabrics, artisanal products, the artisanal village of Soumbédioune and the monument of the African renaissance.

We had a great day at Goree and Dakar Senegal. Mbaye is knowledgeable and shared his information. He is also a very kind person. Our driver Alpha also did a terrific job.

Very good organization. The pickup at our hotel was top (car with Air Conditioner and very good driver). Adama was a very good guide throughout the day. She explained the history of the country, culture, education... Very rewarding. To advise without hesitation

Excellent excursion we loved visiting Dakar and its main attractions and monuments our Guide Max was really great I recommend Gorée island is to do and we had lunch with Max at Tonton's a nice grilled fish restaurant in front of the pier so we resumed a second excursion and frankly I recommend this organization to the top

There were 7, Senegal Excursions organized our Goree/Dakar and Bandia tours to our total satisfaction! Our guide Max was super nice, interesting and made us discover Senegal with humor and great knowledge. We really recommend this agency. In addition the price of the excursions was very competitive. Nothing but positive.

Unforgettable and simply the desire to go back to do other excursions with the Senegal team excursions. Fatou knew how to surround himself with professional, cultivated and extremely kind people to introduce us to their country: Dakar , Gorée Island among others and especially the homestay (Fatou)? Kiss to Mohamed future football champion. Djibril and Max, you leave us memorable memories and when we think about our conversations it is always with a smile so much you are at the top! We have just returned from Senegal we took the tours with Senegal excursions (Greece Island, Badhia, shell island, village and bush), everything is very well organized for a superb discovery of Senegal in different ways Max, Adama, Moktar, Fatou, Djibril (the whole family who received us so well around a delicious meal) beautiful visits, in good mood, in small group, memories full head, thank you to the whole Senegal team excursions, go there with your eyes closed!!

We had a great stay in Senegal thanks to Senegal excursions.We made the island of Gorée and Dakar, the reserve of Bandia, the 4x4 on the dunes that pleased the children a lot , the pink lake that is no longer pink and the arrival of fishermen and the market of Mbour, impressive. Thanks to the guides Moctar and Max who accompanied us and made us discover the cultural riches of Senegal.
