5.00There are dozens of folks who can take you from winery to winery and talk about the Marlborough region. Not many will take the time to get to know you and truly value the time spent together. And none of them will observe, notice, and wonder how they can make your experience personally exceptional. Then there’s Doug. Not only a lovely human and pillar of the region. Not only a smart, funny, people-loving guy who filled our day with insight and laughter. Not only a great singer even. But a guide who took the time to truly listen and then, after an already lovely day of wine and food, personalized our final stop based on what he thought we’d like from the experience….a smaller cellar door and a chance to speak with the actual wine-maker. Brilliantly curated. Thanks for making my birthday and our trip to Marlborough truly unforgettable. We are truly grateful and hope to see you in Bali someday soon, my friend. Worth every penny to find a company whose owner and staff truly care about those who have invested with them their time and money. Cheers, friends.

5.00We had a wonderful day thanks to Doug. We visited four wineries, had tastings. We had lunch at one and tried dishes we’ve never had before. Then we had ice cream and visited the chocolate factory.

5.00Amanda was a great host. Visited a few of the vineyards from small Clos Henri, SpyValley and a lovely lunch at St Claires finishing at Cloudy Bay. We also had a quick stop at the chocolate factory. We were a group of 4 and we all had a great day out. Very well run tour
