Its Ottoman and Byzantine era sights are focused around the city’s delightful Old town , bordered by the 15th-century Stone Bridge and Fortress Kale Skopje’s guardian since the 6th century. Canyon Matka, Macedonia

Matka Canyon

Breakfast. Transfer to Canyon Matka. Start at the 14th-century Monastery of Matka, dedicated to the Holy Mother of God. Walk along the banks of the River Treska, famous for its kayak competitions, following the path past the Dam and Lake Matka. Visit of the Monastery St.Andrew. Next, climb aboard a small boat to cruise along the canyon, soaking up the surroundings and scent of flowers. At the end visiting the Cave “Vrelo” one of the deepest caves in Europe.
