This is without a doubt a must do to see the gran canyon. You can only really appreciate it by air. Our pilot, Kate, made us feel safe and the tour thought us a lot that we wouldn’t have known just by visiting the village. Our flight time was around 50 min and that felt quick.

It was incredible!! Kate was an awesome pilot. We loved how we got to see so much in such a short amount of time. We also loved the history and Kate’s additional comments and information. She made the experience that much more memorable.

We took the 45 minute helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. It was an awesome and satisfying experience. The tour was safe for all ages and took us into the canyon over the South Rim and we were able to see the expanse of the canyon with the Colorado river way below us. The 45 minutes was enough to cross the river three times and take us upto the north rim. It's an expensive tour but totally worth it and a once in a lifetime experience. The title of the tour "optional hummer" is misleading. That is a separate tour paid for and booked separately. Other than that, heartily recommended.

Amazing landscape. Disappointed we had a trainee and bad weather. Kids and wife got sick; felt like this was a training run and didn’t feel like we got much attention.

Awesome experience viewing the Canyon from the air. Pilot, Heather was knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. Views were amazing on a clear sunny day.

Our pilot Justin was very professional and competent. He was friendly and thoughtful. We enjoyed his music selections, historical commentaries and interesting stories about the indigenous tribes. We took our 14 yr grandson. It was a very memorable experience. Thank you Justice and crew!

I decided to splurge on a helicopter ride because we had only very limited time at the Grand Canyon and it was so worth it!! Absolutely breathtaking seeing the canyon from above!!! Our pilot, Justin, was very calm which was very reassuring to me, and he was attentive to the different passengers. He joked with my young daughter who was sitting next to him and he picked up on 2 passengers speaking only little English and played the audio in French for them. Overall, it was such an incredible experience that we will be talking about for a long time! My daughter could not stop smiling for the rest of the day....

I took my tour out of the the Grand Canyon airport Id like to start with the good, the tour over the canyon was beautiful and our pilot Fredrick was very professional and informative. My displeasure started 50 minutes before our flight when I received a call telling me, not asking me that I would be moved from the 3PM to the 4PM flight. I had driven 3.5 hours to be there half an hour early as requested. The explanation from Papillon was that the flight had not filled up and they would not fly without 4 passages, understandable but I reminded them that I had booked 3 weeks earlier they should have called sooner than 50 minutes prior to lift off. I explained I was not happy and had dinner reservations after and the timing was critical to my days plans. The staff member I spoke with agreed to call in other customers in for an earlier departure. When I arrived 40 minutes prior to my flight we were checked, in along with a tour bus of customers and all shown the safety video together. When I asked about my request for front row seats when I made my reservation 3 weeks ago they said it would be reviewed before flight time. I had figured if they didn't have enough customers for the flight that should be a no brainer. When I came out of the video a second bus of people had come in, checked in and watched the safety video. Around 2:50PM what looked like both tour groups were called and boarded a helicopter while I waited with my daughter for our 3PM flight, there was no 3PM flight. At 3PM there was not a helicopter for the tour we picked on property and ready to leave. At 3:20 we boarded a helicopter for a beautiful tour of the canyon with a different family of three. . My daughter luckily had a front seat, I did not though. A little upsetting based on the 50$ a seat upgrade on what should have been an empty flight based on what I was told by Pappilon. Would have been great to enjoy the experience with her, not from the second row. I understand this is a small delay and I dint get the upgrade I requested, however I feel Papillon did not do a great job communicating what was happening. I believe we were bumped by the bigger tour groups and lied to by staff when they tried to blame this mix up on under booking when clearly the 3PM flights were very booked, over booked if you will, Then again not told the truth about departure time when I put resistance into the delay to a later fight.
