Witness the most striking scenery located throughout the Grand Canyon National Park aboard this South Rim airplane tour, available both in the morning and afternoon. You'll fly over the eastern part of the canyon, where you'll find aerial views of incredible landmarks like Zuni Point, Imperial Point, Painted Desert, and the lush forestry of the Kaibab National Forest.

Your sightseeing airplane is equipped with oversized windows for photography as well as in-flight narration to provide facts and historical anecdotes about the sights below you. This scenery-packed tour provides an excellent overview of the Grand Canyon in a short amount of time.

You'll also have the opportunity to upgrade your adventure to include a ground excursion aboard a customized open-air Hummer vehicle, so you can visit several of the most world-famous viewpoints along the canyon's edge.

Great way to see the Canyon. We thoroughly enjoyed our flight experience over the Canyon and the added sunset Hummer Tour. Our Hummer tour guide Samuel was great. He had tons of local knowledge and historical stories and facts about the Canyon. He had a passion for sharing his knowledge with others which is always nice to see. We’d highly recommend this tour. Go & Enjoy.

The flight lasts for about 40 minutes and is in a small plane with enlarged windows. The pilot flies along both the south and north rim of the Grand Canyon and you can see for miles. It was an incredible experience and I would recommend this to anybody.

Don’t put your phone against plane window to deter glare. There may have been too much vibration…those pictures were blurry.

I visited Tusayan in August 2025 and had a reservation for a hummer ride around Grand Canyon and an Airline flight over the Grand Canyon. Both trips were great

The trip should have been great, in terms of where we went and what we say, but my wife and I were put in the back seats (I can't understand why as we were the second set of people to arrive) and my wife got motion sickness almost immediately which lasted for the whole flight, so not great for her. She does not usually suffer with motion sickness which shows how bumpy it was.

The airplane was taken out in a storm. They should never have taken us out on this flight. And while we were in this tiny airplane over the Grand Canyon, lightning hit the wing next to me. It did no damage, but there was a lot of turbulence people were throwing up on this flight. I would not recommend it. They should’ve known well enough to not take us out in the storm.
Nice trip and more affordable than a helicopter.

Beautiful views and worthwhile trip. This was my third time to the Grand Canyon and I always said that I would do an air tour if I went back. So this was it and it did not disappoint. The only drawback was the seatbelt I had in the plane was tight and very uncomfortable. I should have taken an extender! Regardless, our plane was all window seats (note that only one side gets the better views of the canyon) so we all could see clearly. It was a relatively quick trip of about 45 minutes but I didn't feel like we missed anything.
