Children 2 years and older are required to have a seat by FAA regulations
Passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg) will be required to purchase an additional seat; this must be reserved in advance to guarantee room.
Per FAA Regulations, original government issued photo ID such as a REAL-ID compliant driver's license or a valid passport is required for all travelers over the age of 18. Photocopies or digital IDs are not accepted. Any guest arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation.
Due to uneven terrain at the Grand Canyon, this tour is not wheelchair accessible.
Photos are available to be purchased at the gift shop.
If you elect to purchase Skywalk admission, please note loose objects, including cameras, are not allowed on the Skywalk. Personal goods will need to be stored in a complimentary locker.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1170lbs (530kg)
Helicopter seating is based on legal weight & balance limits and will be assigned after check-in. Maverick Helicopters does not guarantee seating next to or in the same row of the rest of the party.”

5.00From start to finish this was day out that I will never forget. Maverick were fantastic at keeping in touch in the run up too our trip and they even upgraded us for free to the west rim tour from the wind dancer one .. so we got to experience the Sky Walk and Guano Point also. Our pilot was Aaron .. he was really chatty and informative and we really enjoyed our day with him .. his knowledge about the area was unprecedented. As we flew over each area he was pointing out various landmarks and talking us through the commentary on the helicopter. We landed in the canyon and got the chance to explore and take pictures.. champagne and snacks were on offer. After that we flew up too the hub for the Sky walk, landed and hopped on the free bus too the Skywalk. After that it was on too Guano Point and then back to the Helicopter for the flight home over Lake Mead.. we then flew up the strip over all the landmarks and big hotels before a nice smooth landing back at Maverick. Best day ever !!

5.00Our pilot Chance was really nice and professional! We wouldn't have had time to see the Grand Canyon without taking the helicopter ride to and from! We were able to see the Hoover Dam, Mead Lake and the Grand Canyon from above! We would do it again. Thank you to Maverick Helicopters for a great experience!

5.00Great experience, it wasn’t cheap but it’s worth doing if you can afford it. Flying over the Hoover Dam you get a fantastic view and then on to The Grand Canyon, The transfer from the heliport was quick and out to EAGLE POINT and then onto Guano Point.

5.00Superbly organised trip. Reminders of pick up were received which gave confidence that someone would definitely be there to collect. Pick up from hotel was on time. Helipad reception very nice and welcoming. Pilot was Kimsie and it was just us and another couple. Kimsie was excellent and she gave us a running commentary when there was something of interest to see. We went in front on the way to GC and the other couple went in front on way back. It was spectacular flying through the Grand Canyon before we landed. Coach took us to the Sky Walk which was expensive but you kind of felt like you had to do it. Great views and we were able to take our phones on the walkway so we could take some pics. We then got a bus to Guano point which provided an opportunity for some more fabulous views and photos. I would definitely recommend this trip.

5.00Wow. What an experience! Pricey but worth it. You get picked up from your hotel, taken to their place, checked in, thorough safety demo. Just fyi, you may be sat apart from your friends/family for weight purposes/distribution. They change seats 3 times total so everyone gets a chance to be up front. Lasts about 2.5 hours from start to finish. Amazing
You won’t regret doing this it was awesome.
