The excursion was run by 2 guys. It was very personable. We learned a lot. It was a smaller group so we didn’t feel crowded or rushed throughout the whole thing. For the bio bay, they made us wear wet suits for protection against jellyfish (not a problem at all), as well as life jackets to make it even easier to float. The glowing water was AMAZING. We had PLENTY of time at the bio bay to swim and be in the glowing water.

It was amazing, the guys on the boat were super friendly and very nice and were very flexible with the needs of the group. The Bioluminescent Bay is really something to see at least once in life.

The crew was nice and helpful and provided us with life jackets and protective suits for the bioluminescence bay tour. Starfish point was nice getting to hold the starfish in your hand and have it grab onto you in the water. The bioluminescence tour I think I expected more. I thought it would be a well lit display in the water at night. In actuality it was just the water dimly lighting up locally wherever you moved your hands and feet with a 1-2 second grayish blue hue. Nice experience, but I think a little overpriced for what we actually saw. The stingray city tours for a lesser price were more interesting in my opinion.

We had a great time! Our captain and guide were fantastic and even picked us up at Starfish Point, which was closer to our resort. Take them up on wearing the suit. We were having trouble capturing the bioluminescence on camera, but the captain helped us and we have some great shots!
