National Museum of Qatar
National Museum of Qatar – Where the Past Meets the Future The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) is one of Doha’s most iconic landmarks, designed by world-famous architect Jean Nouvel, inspired by the shape of a desert rose. Opened in 2019, this stunning architectural masterpiece celebrates Qatar’s rich history, culture, and future vision. Inside, visitors embark on a journey through time — from the country’s natural history and Bedouin traditions to the discovery of oil and Qatar’s rapid modern transformation. The museum’s immersive galleries combine films, artifacts, and interactive displays, bringing Qatar’s story to life in a captivating way. Located along the Doha Corniche, the museum also houses a beautiful lagoon, heritage palace of Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani, a gift shop, and a café offering breathtaking views of the futuristic Doha skyline.
The Pearl Island
The Pearl-Qatar – Doha’s Luxury Island The Pearl-Qatar is a stunning man-made island just off the coast of Doha, known for its Mediterranean-inspired architecture, luxurious lifestyle, and vibrant waterfront atmosphere. Spanning nearly four million square meters, it’s one of Qatar’s most prestigious residential and leisure destinations. The island features elegant marinas lined with yachts, high-end boutiques, and world-class restaurants and cafés offering everything from fine dining to casual seaside meals. Popular areas include Porto Arabia, with its lively promenade, Qanat Quartier, known as the “Venice of Qatar” for its colorful canals and bridges, and Medina Centrale, a family-friendly hub filled with shops, cinemas, and outdoor seating. By day or night, The Pearl offers breathtaking views of Doha’s skyline and a relaxed yet glamorous atmosphere — a must-visit spot for photos, dining, or simply enjoying the Qatari coastal lifestyle.

What an amazing time, 3 days, 3 tours, full of wonderful surprises, giving me a very interesting insight into Doha. Thanks to Tour Guide Haithem, I discovered so much, and visited so many places, he was so knowledgeable and friendly. In the city I was taken to: Katara Cultural Village, The Pearl Island, Souq Waqif markets, Corniche promenade and lots of other places. On the water I enjoyed a fabulous Dhow Boat cruise, seeing the spectacular city lights. Another favourite tour was visiting the National Museum of Qatar, built in the shape of the Desert Rose. I loved learning the stories and history. Can’t wait to return.

Cannot recommend [Haithem] highly enough! From the moment the tour began, his passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm were absolutely contagious. Every stop along the way was brought to life through fascinating stories, historical insights, and little-known facts that you’d never get from a guidebook. He was answering questions with patience and depth, or adding just the right touch of humor and personality to keep things engaging throughout. It felt more like exploring with a knowledgeable friend than being part of a tour. Everything was organized flawlessly, and I felt well taken care of from start to finish. If you're looking for a tour guide who is passionate, professional, and genuinely cares about giving you an unforgettable experience, look no further than [Haithem]. Thank you for an incredible day, Fanan Aboalrob

We felt very fortunate to be matched with Siham. His incredible knowledge about Doha and Qatar truly enriched our experience. During our visit to the National Museum of Qatar, he provided detailed explanations that brought the exhibits to life and made the visit far more meaningful than if we had gone on our own. He also took us to a number of unique and unexpected places, including the cleanest fish market we’ve ever seen and even an office where he had special access—experiences we never would have had without him. At the famous Souq Waqif market, his insights and stories gave us a much deeper understanding of the culture and history behind what we were seeing. This experience was truly one of the highlights of our time in Qatar. We’re deeply grateful for the opportunity to have explored the city with him and hope our paths will cross again.

From the Souqs, Lusail City, Pearl Island, Mosques and so much more I couldn’t believe how much we covered in just a day. I really enjoyed learning about the City, Country, the Culture and my guide made the day very interesting for me.
