We had a brilliant experience with Nevin today at the pyramids. We were picked up from the hotel on time and had a nice amount of time at the pyramids, visiting multiple spots to get some great photos whilst Nevin shared some history with us. We then finished off with a falafel lunch while on the way back to the hotel which was great! Many thanks Nevin

Had a great tour of the Pyramids and GEM with Nevin! . We were picked up from the hotel, direct to the Pyramids in the morning, then via lunch to the GEM in the afternoon. Nevin is friendly and extremely knowledgeable! Felt safe at all times and love that she seems to know everyone, and knows exactly where to get the best photos!

We had a wonderful day out seeing the Pyramids, Sphinx and GEM. Nevin is an exceptional and friendly guide and taught us lots about Egyptian life, history and culture. The whole day was seamlessly organised and nothing was too much trouble. She also seems to know absolutely everyone and the best photo spots. The museum is impressive and huge so definitely best to have a guide take you round. It was a great fun-packed and educational day and truly memorable experience. Highly recommended. Shukran Nevin. Fantastic tour of the Pyramids and GEM with Niven. A small group of 4, we were collected from the hotel, direct to the Pyramids in the morning, then via lunch to the GEM in the afternoon. Niven takes care of everything. She’s very friendly, seems to know everyone, and knows exactly where to get the best photos. She organised camel rides, answered all our questions, arranged tickets for the GEM and showed us round. Finishing at the King Tutankhamen gallery - which is very, very impressive. I’ve used Niven 3 times in the last ten years and it’s always been a super day out. Thanks Niven!

The museum is impressively large and the exhibits are well spaced out, but they have little factual descriptions. This is where our guide Niveen was so good. She was very knowledgeable on all periods and Kingdoms, and knew the museum well enough to take a different route from the crowds to avoid bottlenecks. Every question was answered with a knowledgeable response, often resulting in a detour to an exhibit that better explained her point. This was no guided tour by script! I’ve used this company earlier in the year to tour the pyramids and I had the same high levels of satisfaction and would definitely use them again, and recommend to all.

Absolutely amazing, the new museum is a must-do if in Cairo. Our guide Mohamed was top notch, highly knowledgeable, and allowed time so we never felt rushed. The Tut gallery is beyond words.

Just had my tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum with Marco. The museum itself is an impressive new jewel in the crown for the Giza Plateau complex. A ‘must see’ if you want to get up close to Egyptian artefacts beautifully presented in a breathtaking building. I had the benefit of Marco as my guide. When anyone is booking a guide you can never be sure what to expect - Will they be knowledgeable, will they be good company, will we get on well? I can say with Marco you have nothing to worry about. He was warm and personable and we chatted a lot during the visit. I learned a lot from him and he tested me, in a playful and jovial way, about the things we saw. He made it fun and entertaining. The time flew by. Only a small proportion of the museum is open at the moment and it did say in the ad that we would see the interactive Tutankhamen exhibition (one of the main reasons I booked) but that isn’t open yet. That was disappointing for me and should be made clearer in the advertising. None of this, however, was Marco’s fault and despite me not seeing King Tutankhamen Marco was so engaging and knowledgeable it made up for it. I would really recommend Marco as a guide as we were able to discuss many other things as well as the exhibition so the conversation or ‘banter’ (a new word I taught him) flowed throughout. It was like spending the day with a good friend or family member who happened to be an expert in Egyptian history. A shout out also for Badr our driver who was courteous and punctual as well and sat patiently waiting outside for us until we were finished. All in all a great experience that you can book in confidence.
