What To Expect
Guatemalan Cooking Class with a Market Tour starts in the morning or in the afternoon with a visit of the local market in Antigua. Your host Joaquin will take you through the outside and inside market area where you will learn all about Guatemalan fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices while purchasing fresh products directly from local growers to use in your cooking class.

5.00This was such a good time! This was my last day in Antigua and this was such a great way to spend it. We learned about some history, culture and then cooking. It was only 3 of us in the class and I think that added to everything. If you are on the fence about this, DO IT. You won’t be disappointed. And Dario was just a pleasure to to have as a guide.
A lovely visit to the market with Dario, who provided us with a lot of explanations, followed by a very enjoyable complete cooking class.

5.00I had an amazing experience at this cooking class with Dario and Victor! From start to finish, he made the class fun, engaging, and easy to follow. His passion for cooking really shows, and he created such a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. The recipes were delicious, the techniques were explained clearly, and I learned so many useful tips that I can actually use at home. Dario was patient, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and involved throughout the class. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a memorable, hands-on cooking class. I can’t wait to take another class with him!

We learned so much, not just about the food but the traditions behind it. And the food we made was absolutely delicious! It was a lovely way to spend the day and truly the perfect start to our vacation. Highly recommend!
