Guided e-MTB tour to the alpine pastures of the Salzkammergut : With modern e-support, you can go on gravel - and forest roads from the valley to high alpine pastures - with great views, photo spots and a stop in huts. The electric motor helps with the uphill climb, but ES remains a true mountain experience : 900–1,400 meters in altitude in ascent and descent at 30–45 km, depending on route, weather and group. You need basic fitness and safe cycling, but not trail skills.
The weather in the mountains can change quickly : even in summer 5 °C, rain and wind are possible. Be sure to bring sturdy shoes, layers and wind/rain jacket.
Our certified local guides are experienced e-mountain bikers and adjust the pace and distance of the group. So the tour stays safe, varied and really fun. Along the way, you will learn exciting facts about nature, culture and history of the region.
This is a sporty, scenic experience – perfect for anyone who really wants to experience mountains.

The rustic Iglmoosalm with its wonderful view of the Gosaukamm is a top destination on our e-bike tours. A Kaiserschmarrn made according to an old recipe is the crowning glory for a break on the sun terrace.

Hallstatt is easy to visit on our e-bike tours while driving through. Even if the focus of our tours is on the alpine sights, the 7,000 year old culture of Halstatt is worth a visit.

5.00My husband and I had the most amazing experience on our bike tour with Karl! He was a fantastic guide — fun, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. The scenic views were absolutely breathtaking, and one of the highlights was our lunch high up in the mountains. — it was delicious & also such a unique experience. We enjoyed every moment of the tour and can't recommend Karl highly enough. If you're considering a bike tour in Austria, he's the guide for you!

5.00We had a great guided tour with Karl who made sure from the beginning that we understood everything about the E-bikes and felt comfortable and safe. Once we got going, it just kept getting better and better. Because of the nice weather Karl was able to take us places that were absolutely stunning, fantastic and beautiful and the terrain was so great! We took a break at the most quaint and delightful hut that a couple owns and you get farm to table delicious food. After our break the ride just kept getting better, the sights are stunning. This is the best guided bike tour I’ve been on, I highly recommend!

5.00Epic experience! Our guide, Wolfram, is the man! He picked up on our groups humor and self deprecation and joined in the banter all day. He lead the group with confidence and always had an eye on our safety. The views from the top are worth the uphill climb. The Ebike's are fun to operate, but you'll still need to be prepared to push yourself on the climb. Lunch on the hilltop was authentic Austrian and delicious. We couldn't have had a better time viewing the mountain and countryside.

5.00We had such a fantastic time doing this E-MTB tour in Gosau. We had the tour guide, Wolfram, that took us up the ridges and through the valleys of the Salzkammergut. He was an exceptional tour guide that not only knew the best spots, but loved to talk about the region he calls home. He was beyond friendly, and really wanted to get to know his guests and wanted them to get the absolute most out of their tour. He is also a very good mountain bike instructor (and photographer too!) that can enhance your mountain biking skills while you sightsee. We cannot recommend this enough to anybody that has an interest in getting outdoors and authentically experiencing the region by bike. Thank you Wolfram and Karl for your sincere hospitality and we hope to come back and do the Hallstatt route! - Jeff & Sam

5.00We (in our upper 60’s) were novices on mountain bikes but Karl helped us learn the techniques we needed to make it to the top of the mountain. We didn’t realize we would have to peddle the whole way but peddle we did. We are so happy we made it. The views were worth the effort and lunch was delicious. Thank you Karl for a wonderful day.

5.00We had the best time on this hike tour! Even though the weather was chilly and misty/rainy, our guide Wolfram kept us laughing. It was fun to be outside on an adventure. Wolfram tailored the ride to our biking skills and we felt safe following along behind him. I would definitely recommend!

He was patient as well for bikers who are not fully into cycling and it was our favorite part of our trip! Highly recommend and would love to do it again!
