The park only allows Class I e-bikes (pedaling required), but our e-bikes motors provide excellent support on hills and longer stretches, making this adventure accessible to riders of various fitness levels.

What To Expect
Duck Brook Bridge
Your tour will begin at Hull's Cove Visitor Center, where you will climb up Paradise Hill to enjoy a stunning view of Bar Harbor, Porcupine Island, and Frenchman's Bay. Next, you will proceed towards the east end of Witch Hole Pond, until you reach Duck Brook Bridge. This section of the Carriage Roads spans over 2.5 miles, and there is a restroom available at this location.
Eagle Lake Acadia National Park
Once we pass the Duck Brook Bridge, our tour operator usually takes a break at a beaver pond where we can observe a large community of the rodents actively working on their house and dam. After that, we continue our journey towards Eagle Lake, where we head down the west side of the lake. The distance between Duck Brook bridge and the south end of Eagle Lake is 4 miles.

5.00I had the time of my life on this incredible tour with our gracious host, Thomas! He was kind and knowledgeable about the animals and landscape of the park. It was the highlight of my trip!

1.00The tour guide was very disappointing. The tour started late, and instead of apologizing, he repeatedly joked about the company being called “Island Time.” His commentary was rambling, disorganized, and often didn’t make sense—you would expect him to have a clear, practiced narrative by now. Overall, the experience was irritating and unprofessional. Learned very little on this tour as he was extremely incoherent. Couldn’t even ask a question without getting a 10 minute monologue that ended up never giving a real answer. Company should train tour guides on the script and monitor the tours for quality, efficiency and fun. Thankfully we were able to leave midway through and salvage the time lost. Otherwise it would have been a beautiful bike ride.

5.00Thomas was not just an incredibly safe and thorough e-bike tour guide, he was a spirited wildlife enthusiast who shared a piece of his passion with us. It was an amazing experience and would recommend 100% to anyone who wants to be outside and is comfortable on a bicycle. It was easy to get there by calling Ellen from Cadillac Mountain Taxi to take the 5 of us there and back Definitely bring layers of clothing as the carriage roads (which are non paved) run through the sun and deep shade with stops along the way in both weather conditions. We enjoyed a grab and go lunch halfway through (not included in the lunch)

5.00First class in every way. Wilton provided excellent guide leadership, information and fun facts. His knowledge of the park and the environment was impressive. The e-bike tour was a highlight of our Acadia vacation. Having a guide significantly enhanced the experienced as opposed to a self guided tour. The e-bikes were top quality. Would highly recommend this tour.
