This was the perfect way to see Acadia! We were new to the e-bike experience and it was super easy. I was relieved when I discovered that we rode the bike in the traditional sense and the “e” part just made the inclines easier. Our guide, Wilton, was friendly and informed. He put us at ease and was well prepared. We had a great tour/day and learned so much about everything from park history to the wildlife etc. My husband and I agreed that it was the best tour of our vacation.

We loved our E-bike tour of the Acadia coastline and we cant wait to come back. From this point forward, I am sold on seeing Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park by guided Ebike- we highly recommend it. Merrill and Kathy were also excellent guides and they patiently and skillfully brought two first-time Ebike users up to speed within the first five minutes.

One of the absolute best experiences of our trip to Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park. The eBike tour around the Carriage Roads of Acadia was just stunning. We visited during the fall colors and it is one of the most gorgeous things I have ever seen. Our guide, Wilton, was extremely attentive and worked very hard to make sure that our entire group had both a fun & safe ride! We did another tour of Acadia the day before that included the Cadillac Mtn Summit and a lot of the coastal spots, and we were beyond thrilled that exploring the Carriage roads took us through more of the interior of the park to see the forest, lakes, ponds, creeks, bridges, etc. You cannot miss this! And thanks to the eBikes you get to see SO much of it!

Our guide was Wilton. He did an amazing job. Loved his passion, knowledge, and commitment to Acadia. His enthusiasm was contagious and really brought our group together. The E bikes were great and he gave a great overview so we were prepared for our ride. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful tour with our knowledgeable guide Wilton! He knew the history of the area but also asked questions of the group in order to extend his knowledge and understanding. We had a geologist with us who explained some of the geological formations we saw on the tour, and Wilton was eager to learn from him as well as from others in the group. He knew the area extremely well and made sure that he kept track of everyone for whom he was responsible. I am a retiree and not a cyclist, and this was only my second e-bike experience, so it can be a little intimidating for me to ride with people who have a great deal more experience. I never once felt like I was holding anyone back (even though I probably was), and I think that was due to Wilton’s skill at managing a group whose abilities and experience vary widely. This was one of my greatest vacation days ever, and I can’t wait to come back and do it again!

Great ride through the park on the carriage roads with Merril. We learned about how Rockefeller painstakingly built the roads and his influence on the park. Beauty and education all in one!
