What To Expect

Duck Brook Bridge

Your tour will begin at Hull's Cove Visitor Center, where you will climb up Paradise Hill to enjoy a stunning view of Bar Harbor, Porcupine Island, and Frenchman's Bay. Next, you will proceed towards the east end of Witch Hole Pond, until you reach Duck Brook Bridge. This section of the Carriage Roads spans over 2.5 miles, and there is a restroom available at this location.

Eagle Lake Acadia National Park

Once we pass the Duck Brook Bridge, our tour operator usually takes a break at a beaver pond where we can observe a large community of the rodents actively working on their house and dam. After that, we continue our journey towards Eagle Lake, where we head down the west side of the lake. The distance between Duck Brook bridge and the south end of Eagle Lake is 4 miles.

    What amazing views to start off with. Wilton, our guide was so kind and friendly. Also is very knowledgeable about the area and history. The best way to tour the park. Absolutely do it again. The E bikes were top-notch and well-maintained.
