Slip on your heated helmet and hit the gas--we are headed through Alaska's winter playground. This 1 hour guided tour takes place on the outskirts of North Pole where we will thunder across the famous Alaska Pipeline and zip through snow covered forests. We usually see some wildlife on every tour to include: Moose, Fox, Snowshoe Hares, Ptarmigan, Grouse, and squirrels.
All snowmobiles are new Ski Doo luxury touring snowmobiles. These snowmobiles are made for riding in style and comfort. All snowmobiles have heated handgrips and electric start.

What To Expect
When you arrive at the snowmobile office we will provide you with warm outer gear and a heated helmet. Then you will receive a safety and operations brief; followed by practice riding. When you are complete with practice riding; your 1 hour snowmobile adventure begins. Trails are picked based on rider ability.

5.00The snow machine tour was extremely fun! Our tour guide, Rodney, was great and even spotted three moose while we were out on the trails. Everyone at Rod's Alaskan Guide Service was very friendly and helpful. Great experience, I highly recommend.

5.00This was a fun ride on the snow mobile. Driving them for the first time and it was fun. Our guide made sure everyone was comfortable and kept constant watch to ensure the entire group was following him. Fun ride in the snow covered trails.

5.00Great experience! Reasonably priced. Our tour guide Victoria was just amazing. She made sure everyone stayed together and no one was left behind while making sure everyone had a great time. Good at reading people and increased speeds on the snowmobiles only when safe to do so in a group.

5.00We had an amazing time on this tour! Josh was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring everyone had a great experience. The highlight? Getting some free time at the end to freestyle at the lake! They provide plenty of gear if you need it, and inside, you’ll find some adorable dogs to greet you while you get ready. Highly recommend this experience if you’re visiting North Pole or Fairbanks!

5.00Our snow machine tour with Rod's Alaskan Guide Service was a blast, thanks to Josh! Rod's provided great snowmobiles for exploring the stunning Alaskan winter. Josh was a fantastic guide, keeping us safe and making the ride exciting. We even had a minor "stuck" moment, but Josh expertly got us back on track with good humor. The scenery was incredible. Highly recommend Rod's for a thrilling snow machine adventure – especially with Josh, who's ready for anything! Rating: 5/5 stars Definitely Recommend!

5.00This was the best experience we had in Alaska so far! We all really enjoyed the snowmobile rides and Victoria made our experience even better. She gave us clear instructions and guided us safely for the whole trip. Weather and was beautiful and temperature was freezing but amazing. Overall, definitely recommended if you enjoy cruising fast!

5.00The snowmachine ride was amazing. Our guide - Will - took us through beautiful forests with the sun peaking thru the trees! He would stop and take pics of you during the ride! He pointed out moose several times! We stopped on an area that appeared untouched. One word - AMAZING!!!! Can't wait to do it again!!!
