Slip on your heated helmet and hit the gas--we are headed through Alaska's winter playground. This 1 hour guided tour takes place on the outskirts of North Pole where we will thunder across the famous Alaska Pipeline and zip through snow covered forests. We usually see some wildlife on every tour to include: Moose, Fox, Snowshoe Hares, Ptarmigan, Grouse, and squirrels.
All snowmobiles are new Ski Doo luxury touring snowmobiles. These snowmobiles are made for riding in style and comfort. All snowmobiles have heated handgrips and electric start.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
When you arrive at the snowmobile office we will provide you with warm outer gear and a heated helmet. Then you will receive a safety and operations brief; followed by practice riding. When you are complete with practice riding; your 1 hour snowmobile adventure begins. Trails are picked based on rider ability.

5.00We joined the Aurora snowmobile tour on the 24th and had such an amazing experience from start to finish. Our guide, Rodney, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting stories about the northern lights and their dog sledding experiences, which made the whole trip even more special. At first, we didn’t see the aurora for about an hour, but around midnight it suddenly burst into the sky!! it was absolutely breathtaking and totally worth the wait. Rodney also helped us take lots of beautiful photos and made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the tour. Everything was thoughtfully organized, and the whole experience felt very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

4.00It would have been nice to stop more than once or stop in a more scenic area rather than a narrow path. Otherwise, it was perfect-loved the chance to do a windy path plus go faster in an open area.
Super fun night time activity. A must do, when in Fairbanks or North Pole!

5.00We took the Aurora snowmobiling tour with Rodney last night. It was an exciting adventure through the woods and across open spaces. Rodney kept an eye on us and on the sky and found the most stunning light shows. He's super friendly and knowledgeable and for me, he felt like family.

5.00Five stars for Rodney Pangborn! As a beginner, I was worried about the controls and safety, but the pre-ride briefing was spot on. He answered all my questions before I even had to ask him. I had a blast and felt safe the entire time. Highly recommend for everyone.

5.00Signed up for the 2-hr snow machine tour. We are from Florida so it was our groups first time on snow machines. It was a blast! We got assigned Riley as our guide and he did an excellent job. Started out in some tight trails that really felt like you were in the Alaska wilderness. Then after everyone was doing a good job driving, Riley quickened the pace and added a sporty feel to the adventure. I would definitely recommend Rods for any guide service your looking for, the whole staff/ experience was awesome.

5.00Josh was a great guide - patient and fun. We had all ages on our tour from our 18-year-old son to my 80-year-old mother and he was able to help everybody have a wonderful time. We were warm even though it was -15!

5.00Fantastic 2 hour tour on snow machines! The prep team, getting us prepped with who needed what were very attentive and made getting ready easy. Our guide, Riley made sure we were prepared and wouldn’t get cold. He chatted with each of us and ensured we were comfortable on the machines before we left the site. Along the way we made a few stops, getting to see some ice fishing and beautiful views! We had a person who was too afraid to continue so we went back to drop her off. Once we were done he was very concerned and took time to walk to our bus to check on her and make sure she was good. So thoughtful and a great guide. Highly recommend !!
