Our guide trips are about creating a one of a kind experience. We offer access and knowledge on more bodies of water than most. With every trip we consider weather, river flows, angler capability and fish activity to provide the best day possible for you. If you as a guest have special requests we will do everything in our power to accommodate. Our trips are about learning, getting to experience beautiful scenery an catch some great fish along the way.

What To Expect
You will experience a one of a kind guided fly fishing experience made just for you or your group. All gear is included. Our expert guides will take the time to teach proper casting to new anglers or help fine tune the seasoned veteran. At Mayfly Fishing we pride ourselves on working a little bit harder to provide a special day on the water. That may mean a little longer hike to escape the crowds, a custom lunch or creating a friendly tournament for your corporate retreat. The day starts with either a pick up or a meet on the river. You will get all of your gear on, that is provided by your guide, at the meeting spot. The walk down to the river is anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. Your guide will start by explaining fish feeding habits, location and bug life. Your guide will take plenty of time to explain how to cast to, present to, catch and release fish.You won't stay in one spot all day. Our guides are all about making the most of your time on the water while getting to experience as much as you can. Full days will break for lunch around noon, while half days will usually fish straight through lunch until roughly 2pm. Snacks and drinks are provided on half days.

5.00Went on a trip with Cody down the green river 06/29, and it was nothing short of amazing. I’ve been on several guided trips in the area, and this one was by far the best. Cody and his team make the booking process easy and seamless from start to finish. I am a beginner fly fisherman and the instruction and guidance given was the invaluable. We caught a variety of fish and enjoyed every second. Definitely will only go with this company from now on!

5.00A birthday gift for my husband (72) & grandson (19), who both love fly fishing, though catching fish has never been too successful…. until they went out with Cody! Cody had all the equipment ready for a fabulous experience. He shared his knowledge and expertise, ensuring many fish caught and then released. He even took photos and offered info should our grandson have questions in the future! We rate this a 5+ experience and plan to experience Cody’s excursion with other family members in the future.

5.00Our guide; Derick, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and provided a great morning of fly fishing for my son and I. It was our first time fly fishing and Derick provided great instruction and technique. Within 10 minutes, my son and I were both catching our first trout. I highly recommend this trip.

5.00Our guide (Eric) was awesome. We arrived to a spot early based on his recommendation. Between my son and I we caught about 40 trout in the 6 or so hours we were on the river. It was a great experience.

5.00Eric was so great! He is very knowledgeable and made it easy to understand what we needed to do. We truly had the absolute best time, highly recommend! Also, the photos he got of us alone was so worth it but catching fish made it even better! So glad we did this and have such a spectacular memory.

5.00Cody was recommended to us by a family who’s fished with him for years. As first timers, we didn’t know what to expect and showed up empty handed and with 4 kids in tow. Cody was prepared with all gear and equipment, perfectly sized for each of us. He and his assistant guide carried everything to and from the river. All we had to do was show up and have an unbelievable day on the water. Caught tons of fish, kids nabbed the biggest ones and loved every second of it! He was patient, attentive, and determined to make it a successful day. Will definitely use him again next time and highly recommend him to all.

5.00Fantastic day fly fishing with Brody!! Absolutely recommend for anyone that likes an adventure. Cody was a great communicator and set us up with Brody for the day and had everything all ready for us when we got there! We had never fly fished before and wow did we catch some fish! Super exciting! I’m hooked now and will definitely be doing this again! Thanks for a great day!

5.00I have been meaning to write this review for several weeks. We were pure rookies at fly fishing but it was a bucket list item so when we were in the area for a few days after a family wedding we went for it!! Cody was great to respond to our request, answer questions, tell us what was included, how to dress for the weather, etc. We booked an entire full day to assure we got the full experience. Kyle LeBlanc was our guide and very helpful in coordinating a meeting spot and working on timing for the day….We had a late start at 9 am due to cold weather, yes it snowed in PC on 6/20!!! The day was great, Kyle was early and got us suited up and we were off to the river. A 20 minute instruction and he had all three of us on the water and casting away!!! We were on fish right away and landed a few nice little browns and a few whitefish. Kyle was watching what was flying around us, checking the river and constantly changing our flies to keep us on the fish all day. We had a nice shore lunch back at the parking lot and then set out for the river in the afternoon in a new location, again we were on the fish all day long. By the end of the day all three of us had at least 10 in the net and we will not count the misses!!! I cannot overstate how much fun we had and the interaction with Kyle to constantly instruct all of us on the process. He was outstanding!! Again thank you for a great day and we will be back on our next trip to PC….Cheri, Greg and Rich.
