What To Expect

Estancia La Carrera: located in the beautiful area of La Carrera, is one of the oldest working camps in the province, covering more than 70,000 thousand hectares ranging from the Uco Valley to the highest peaks of the Andes. The property is set against the backdrop of the Tupungato Volcano, visible from all corners. The views are stunning...! This exclusive stay has two magnificent streams where we will fish with the help of our guides, where you can find the best rainbow trout and fontinalis of Cordillera. Stalking and precision will be necessary at the time of fishing. It is a special place for both beginners and experienced fishermen. Pick up, is done at 8:30 AM Returning around 18:30 PM Transfer from Mendoza. Walk and sighting of fauna and flora within the stay. Rainbow and fontinalis trout fishing day. Table of cold cuts accompanied with wines from the Estancia.

I couldn’t recommend Pioneros Fly Fishing more! Local guides who are obviously well respected with the ranches in the area. They took us to the most incredible spot on a nearly 200,000 acres family-owned ranch. We saw wild boars, deer, alpaca, and even a puma carcass! Fishing was incredible- expert guides. Also, the meal was one of our best in Argentina. If you want a truly local experience with friendly, local experts, this is your fishing team!
