The fjord adventure would be incomplete without a guided trip to Kjerag bolt. The five cubic meter glacial deposit is mysteriously suspended between two rocks, with the location being a world of its own. It inspires to humbleness and gratitude for having been allowed the privilege to experience nature in its utmost purity, from the top of the world. Standing on the boulder itself is not for the faint of heart and visitors to Kjerag should be reminded that what this place has to offer is more than just an impressive boulder. Chances are you will be in awe of nature’s unmistakable beauty the entire trip, culminating with the breathtaking vistas over the Lysefjord. BASE jumpers challenge their limits on a regular basis from this majestic location and visitors may get the chance to see the “flying” daredevils in action.

It was an extremely wonderful tour. The young tour guide Hovel (may spell it wrong), was very helpful. We are an old couple, the guide helped my wife all the way up and down the mountain. Without his help, my wife would not have made the trip. Thank you.

The hike was challenging but hiking as a group made the whole experience better. Toa is an amazing guide. He is knowledgable of the trails and super helpful along the way. And he takes great pictures!

Difficult hike, do your research before you go. We have had a great guide, Teo, who has been very friendly and helpful throughout. Beautiful once you are up.

This was the hike that got me into hiking. It was my first hike ever but the scenery was amazing. I struggled physically and my legs were tired after, but it was totally worth it!
