The Cuscionu plateau is very famous for its vast territory at altitude, dotted with natural pools, surrounded by lawns called pozzines. There are many protected species endemic to Corsica such as the blue aconites. This plateau is also crossed by the famous trails of the GR 20, where we also cross the highest peak of southern Corsica "L’Incudina".
The plateau is largely located in the municipality of zicavo. Zicavo is a village in the heart of the Taravo valley, in the center of various villages such as Cozzano, Ciamanaccia, Guitera and Palneca, place in the heart of Corsica.

What To Expect
Plateau de Coscione
You will discover the entire plateau of the cuscionu, with its pozzines, its sheepfolds and shepherds, its refuges of the famous GR 20. But the plateau is above all an exceptional natural heritage with several endemic species such as the aconite of Corsica. The plateau of cuscionu is also a strong history in pastoralism with traditions of transhumance.
You will pass at the foot of the highest peak in southern Corsica. a stop will be planned to admire this giant of the mountains.

5.00Jean Marc and Antony were at our disposal for the organization of this day. We rode an electric bike , without difficulty and pleasantly the part of the plateau that we did not know on foot. It was a great morning in nature , noiseless and ended very pleasantly with local products at the refuge of Bassetta with very friendly tenants too. Thank you very much. See you next year:-)

5.00We took advantage of the rental of his electric bikes to visit the plateau of Coscione. What a joy!!! What a magic to see this landscape and these free-ranging animals! Welcoming very friendly, perfect organization and return with a bike descent of more than 20kms.... First experience in electric bicycle, to be redone. In any case a big thank you to the organizers of this half-day adventure.

5.00A great way to discover the coscione plateau Rental is from the charming village of Zicavo in front of the grocery store! You are taken by car to the top of the plateau for a walk without much difficulty A beautiful track allows you to visit the plateau in its entire length See animals and pozines as easily is that happiness Back in mountain bike in the village by a paved road but very pleasant with great views The renter is very friendly, the correct price Go!!!

5.00Super nice young team! Very good new bikes! For a wonderful walk on the set. Thank you very much to Anthony and his daddy 😀 Also, it is important to note that access to the Coscione plateau is infinitely easier by Zicavo (small narrow road but well maintained until the end) than by Quenza (the track is long and very bumpy... fragile cars refrain).
