Join us for an unforgettable Hakone driving experience in our incredible fleet, featuring the R35 GT-R, R32 GT-R, FD3S RX-7, GR Supra, GR Yaris, Lancer Evolution 6, Honda Integra Type R, Honda S660 (Spoon) and Alto Works (Monster). After the exciting mountain passes drive, you will join the world famous Daikoku PA car meet in a JDM machine of our fleet!
Our experienced English speaking guide will lead the way in a pace car, ensuring a safe and enjoyable drive. The price includes car rental, fuel, tolls, and insurance (excess applies).
Our industry-first, unique car rotation system allows participants to share cars that we choose, which in turn allows you to drive at least two or up to four different dream JDM sports cars in a single day.
Please note that exact routes, and available cars may vary on the day of the event. Up to 1 non-driving companion allowed. Customers may request their desired car to drive and we will try our best to cater.

Cars to be driven on the day are subject to availability, we will try our best to accommodate your requests.
This is a guided tour, and you will not be allowed to overtake our guide or other participants, unless you are instructed to do so.
This is a leisure focused, sports car driving tour,and not a racing event. You are strictly required to comply with all traffic laws and regulations in Japan.
You must be familiar with driving a manual transmission vehicle in order to drive some of our cars.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have all necessary documents with you on the day. Failure to present required documents will result in denial of participation and no refund will be given.
The tour will continue if it rains, but in the event that snow or extreme weather condition (such as typhoon) is forecasted, the tour may be cancelled, and participants are eligible to receive a full refund or arrange a reschedule.
In case of an accident, an insurance excess of up to JPY 350,000 may be incurred. Participants are required to bring a valid Visa/Master/AMEX credit card with them on the day. A credit card authorization form will need to be signed prior to the tour.
Our guides are here to give you a memorable experience, therefore it is important that you follow their instructions through our Walkie Talkie system mid tour.
Any consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited before and during the tour.
We are located in Noborito, only 16 minutes from Shinjuku Station.
Price listed is per car, each car can accommodate one driver and one non-driving companion.
We will pick up our customers from Noborito Station at 8:45am, the tour is expected to finish at around 8:00pm at Noborito Station.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00This JDM car experience was one of the best experiences i have had. Since getting picked up from the train station (so easy!!) It was a big day but an amazing experience driving some of the best cars in the JDM scene. If you are an Inial-D or JDM fan (superfan) this is the only tour you need to do to really get a full experience. It was fun, varied and Josh was on point with getting us used to the cars and then having fun! I will be recommending this to all my friends back in Australia and will be looking at booking again when we come back. Thanks Josh and the Team!

5.00The Team at Drivers Lounge made my dream to drive manual JDM Legends in the Iconic Mountains in Japan come true. Driving and navigating in a foreign country is very intimidating, and attempting to do this on my own on a self guided tour was not an option. From my initial inquiry everything was prompt and professional. Communication and questions were clearly addressed and quickly calmed any fears I had as I was going solo on this tour (my wife and kids had no interest in joining me lol). Arrival at G-Base was perfectly instructed per the email provided. Even stopped at a local bakery for some goodies on my walk. The tour and experience is very well thought out and planned, I feel like everything was carefully sculpted to ensure the best client experience. Individual head sets for direct communication with the the incredible guide Josh and other drivers, pre-set GPS cell phones, planned stops all made the tour incredibly easy. The cars offered are also VERY well maintained and drive amazingly. Being a car fanatic I can tell that the cars are constantly serviced with preventative maintenance. Engines were strong and smooth, and idles were steady. Suspension were sporty yet comfortable as we are driving all day. I cannot express my sincere thanks and enjoyment of this tour, Drivers Lounge truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you Clements and Josh!!

The host and other staff were super friendly and helpful with a great knowledge of cars, culture and history of Japan. Even picking you up from the local station. 5.00The best driving tour you will book in Japan. In our month trip to Japan we done tours with 2 of the current popular companies in Japan to Diakoku and Hakone before booking with Drivers Lounge. And we can honestly say that every part of the process, including booking, shuttle to and from the nearest train station, the level of care the staff put into their cars, the relaxed nature of the briefing, not trying to scare you out of driving, and the trip out take and focus on the driving experience itself, it all couldn’t have been done any better. It helps that the staff speak both fluent English and Japanese, as I found this a huge struggle on the alternative drives. And that they are both huge car enthusiasts and want you to have the best time physically possible. One major difference that is worth noting, is how they include a mobile phone in each car with every point you drive to on each tour, so not only do you get to follow the guide, with radio instructions, but you can keep track of the route yourself so you have no fear of getting lost! Being able to drive multiple cars is the cherry on the cake, it allows you to compare the JDM legends back to back and truly feel the quirks and differences of each car. I was able to compare their Honda integra to the Evo 6 and I still couldn’t tell you what car I prefer due to how different each car was to experience. If you are looking for a driving experience in Japan, this is the one you want to do. And I will definitely be returning any time I visit Japan.
