Why come to Assisi?
Because Assisi is pure spirituality. Saint Francis and Saint Clare made it famous 800 years ago and in modern times Blessed Carlo Acutis chose it as the “eternal home” for their mortal remains.
Because Assisi is a box of surprises for those who love Art. The beauty of its monuments is complemented by the tranquility that is breathed in its streets.
Assisi is a town immersed in the green of its olive trees and the harmony of its landscape.
For its Spirituality, Art, Beauty and Nature you will not be able to stop coming to Assisi.

It was a small group walking tour. Overall, we appreciated the local guide Begonia who could talk about the town and its actual people and experiences itself rather than just about the historic and religious sites. A little pricey for what we got but we did appreciate that they did not cancel it though there were only four of us in the group. It was better than many tours we have taken in the past at other sites. We do wish Begonia would have guided us into the Basilica of Santa Chiara, though she told us about it and its history as we walked that way before collecting the headsets.

I loved Assisi, I left very little time. I'd like to go back because I couldn't go to Santa Clara Cathedral or see Carlos Acutis' body. I was only at St. Francis Cathedral, I was able to attend a Mass and see the San Francisco Pantheon. I loved the experience, I would like to come back.

This was our first time in Assisi and one of the reasons for visiting was to see the Basilica of St Francis and St Chiara as well as the Blessed Carlos Acutis. Since we only had a weekend we needed to take a tour that was insightful and this tour mer our expectations 100 + %! Our tour guide Begoña was excellent, she is very knowledgeable and friendly, she catered to us answering questions and making sure that we were all comfortable. Our group was very happy with the tour experience and I would definitely recommend it Thanks again to Begoña for making our tour experience in Assisi memorable All the best

Tour guide was exceptional, parking is a nightmare but she was very helpful telling us where, it’s just that the only open lot was clear at the other end of town, so we were late as you had to walk the whole way thru town to get there… so I think because of that we missed seeing the upper church, after driving 2.5 hours to get there we were disappointed… don’t book on a Sunday would be my recommendation. It interferes with church services. Our guide Begonia was super knowledgeable, and entertaining with local stories as well as history

You must stop in to see the newest modern day Saint Carlo Acutis. He died in 1990 at 15 years old and is the patron saint of the internet. His body is on display under glass at the beautiful Shrine of the Renunciation in Assisi. The old city of Assisi on the hill is breathtakingly beautiful!
