In May, 2026, my husband and I were traveling to PA from GA and decided to stay in Lititz after reading wonderful things about this charming town. I was walking the shop lined streets on a gorgeous day, and a friendly voice said, “Hello!” Sheryl, dressed in period costume, greeted me from the porch of the museum. We sat outside, chatted, and even though it was days end, she offered to show me a few things in the museum. I learned so much in just a few minutes! I wish we had been in town longer to experience the full tour. I was also impressed that volunteers are a huge part of what keeps historic events and activities in Lititz going. Sheryl was lovely. Her energetic enthusiasm was so engaging. I highly recommend this museum. I promise, you will learn things about history you never knew- If you stop by, say hello to Sheryl for me! Angie Darnell

Great short tour providing the early history and origin of Lititz PA. Guide "Ed" was thorough, knowledgeable, and engaging. Just 5 bldgs up the street from the home of Sturgis pretzels. And a short walk to Broad St and Wilbur Chocolate's store. Free Eiber Buds to munch on and Vets they do a military discount. Many interesting shops in about 4 short blocks. Lititz Spring Park right there in the middle of town too. Plan ahead, book your short tour as a great start to your day

Visiting the Lititz 1792 Johannes Mueller House was a delightful journey back in time, made all the more enjoyable by our guide, Cory. As a historian with a sharp wit and a great sense of humor, Cory brought the house and its history vividly to life. His deep knowledge of the house and its inhabitants, combined with his enthusiasm, painted a clear picture of what daily life was like in a small town over 200 years ago. The tour was not only informative but also engaging and entertaining—Cory's storytelling made history feel personal and accessible. A must-see for anyone interested in stepping into the past with a guide who knows how to make history both fun and fascinating. Just watch out for the very steep staircase!

The tour is very informative and interesting however the time ran over the hour that is advertised. It ended up being close to 90 minutes so be aware if you have other scheduled plans and are sticking to a tight schedule you may have conflicts.

Informative about the lifestyle of the periods during and after the initial Moravian town. Sheryl was a great guide, blended a bit of contemporary context, and was responsive to questions.

Our docent was not only knowledgeable, but she had a great sense of humor. It was a pleasure taking the tour. Twice she mentioned Moravian Sugar Cake. We bought it at Zig's bakery and cafe in Lititz. It made the day even more special.

Our visit was great thanks in large part to our tour guide, Sheryl. The tour was incredibly informative without ever feeling overwhelming, and Sheryl struck the perfect balance between sharing rich historical detail and keeping the experience light, engaging, and fun. She managed to cover a remarkable amount of information while keeping the pace comfortable and easy to follow. What I appreciated most was that it never felt like a dry history lecture. Sheryl brought personality, humor, and storytelling to the tour, which made the history of the house and the community come alive.
