On the Italica tour you will discover the Roman city that Emperor Hadrian had built with the help of an art historian and local guide who will tell you its history and show you images that will recreate part of the city to better understand it.
In the 2nd century, Hadrian created a large city of rest with large domus, which preserve most of its mosaics, and important public buildings, such as the main baths and the Amphitheatre, which, after the latest studies, is known to be one of the largest in the Roman Empire, and it was right here, in this amphitheater, where Game of Thrones decided to film some of its most epic scenes from seasons 7 and 8.

What To Expect
Anfiteatro de Italica
We will visit the Italica amphitheater, one of the largest in the Roman Empire. The place where gladiator fights and beast fights were held.

In the city part of the Archaeological Complex of Italica, we will visit several domus (houses) and public buildings, such as the House of the Birds, the House of the Exedra, the House of Neptune and its thermal baths.

5.00On April 24th we carried out a cultural visit to Italica and the Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo, in Santiponce (Seville), with a group of 100 students and adults from a Center of Continuing Education. We have, for the guided tour, the company Margonvaztour. I would like to highlight and publicly thank Maripaz and his team of guides for their excellent work: Marta, Yohanna e Isabel. They demonstrated a high level of professionalism in everything from prior permit management to the conduct of visits. Highlight the rigor in the content, the enthusiasm in the transmission of knowledge and the exquisite treatment towards our students, who valued the day very positively. Undoubtedly, a highly recommended collaboration.

5.00We were with Mari Paz, it was most enjoyable and didactic, you can see that she likes and lives what she explains, we spent two hours in a tris, apart from that we loved the site, with what she was describing us moved to other times and makes you see the Roman culture from another perspective, its engineering, customs, way of life... etc. We leave Italica delighted and with the feeling that we can come back another day and he will tell us about many things that have remained in the inkwell.
