  Luuk was a great tour guide. While most tours rely on broad overviews, this one is centered on historical evidence. Luuk and his colleagues conduct extensive research using archival documents, historical records, and original sources, which gives the tour depth I haven’t experienced elsewhere.

  Luuk is an excellent guide! He did a lot of research on the stories to add historical value to them. An awesome way also to know other parts of the city otherwise sort of hidden. Super fun guy and great storyteller, definitely deserves more people to know him!

  An excellent tour with Luuk! The evening tour was engaging and well-paced. Luuk was professional and generous with additional insights that sparked my curiosity and made me want to learn more. The use of a tablet and AI tools made the tour clearer, more dynamic, and visually rich. I highly recommend joining Luuk’s tour a perfect blend of knowledge, tech, and passion.

  Absolutely fantastic tour! Luuk was a brilliant guide and we had a wonderful time. Lots of urban legends, ghost stories and historical facts all whilst walking a beautiful route around Amsterdam. The tour was really interesting and we enjoyed all of Luuk's extra details gathered from the city archives. He brought stories to life with extra photos and images on an iPad and was very knowledgeable about all of our stops. E even had a fun bingo game to play along the route and a tasty local biscuit. A definite must do in Amsterdam! The time flew by and the route was a comfortable walk. We came with my 8 month old baby and he loved the tour too, captivated by the sights and Luuk's storytelling throughout!

  Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. It's definitely heavier on the history and urban legends than spookiness. We had a great time!

  We really enjoyed being a tourist in our own city and hearing so many beautiful stories (myths) and facts from Luuk that come to life during the walk. Never knew that the city has so many myths immortalized in its structures. Luuk is also a very nice storyteller! This concept is fun for everyone, from the Amsterdammer breed (who may also have a nice legend for Luuk to sift through) as well as for tourists who want to learn more about the city than the standard tourist round. From young to old, highly recommended!!

  This was so much fun! I am a born and raised Amsterdammer and arrogant as Amsterdammers are;-) do you think you know 'everything' about 'your' city. Nothing turned out to be further from the truth, because I didn't know there was a story to tell about any of the places on the tour. The tour is very well put together and made me feel like I wanted to know more about some stories. Luuk is a fun, cozy and smooth tour guide that quickly becomes clear that it is a huge history lover. Facts, fiction, but also humor alternate in this tour through the heart of Amsterdam-Centrum.
