My wife and I did a tour this afternon with Veronica. She has incredible knowlege of history, arts and politics. I wished after 2 hours it kept going. I highly recommend this to first timers to Vienna.

Great tour. Audio packs helped us all hear, even when we were on the move so got more out of the session. Learnt lots and took her up on her commendations and had a wonderful meal afterwards and popped into the Cathedral too.

The tour was run by the company YouOnTour Vienna (booked via Trip Advisor) - I can really recommend it. Our tour guide Nora was very informative, engaging and friendly. The tour took in all the main city sights located in the center (so not Schloss Schönnbrunn, Belvedere or Prater for example) which was perfect to get an overview. Nora explained the history of the monuments along with various interesting facts about the city and culture. The mic transmitter and ear pieces we carried were very helpful to hear the guide at all times. If you're new to the city and just staying a few days, this is an excellent idea.
