The whole tour was amazing, our guide bumblebee was super fun, playing banging tunes and taking great photos. The tour pace was great, starting at 8:00am, we took our time and finished Marble Mountain at 5:00pm

We had so much fun on our Jeep tour. They accomodated us starting later than usual from Hue (11:30am). Even though the tour had to be amended a bit, we still took our time at the stops we had and didnt feel rushed at all. Bumblebee was a great guide and took good care of us. He also was a great DJ, playing songs we could sing along to on the ride.

Fantastic!! What a wonderful tour, so much more than just the pass. Today we drove from Hue to Hoi An with a Jeep via the Hai Van Pass. What an experience. With guide Bumblebee and a driver we left our hotel at 8:00 am in an old American Jeep. We first went to the oldest bridge in the region from 1776, which is used to go to the market and where old ladies exchange all the news. Then on to a mushroom farm. They let the rice hay scald for 3 days under a large piece of plastic and then they pack it in smaller plastic packages and let it scald outside for a week first and then indoors for another 2 weeks. The mushrooms that are naturally present on the rice plants grow in such a way that they can be harvested after those 3 weeks. Very special. Then on to a fishing village on the water. The people there live on a boat with their entire families and have a very hard time. Children cannot go to primary/secondary school because their parents do not have the money for that. After kindergarten they leave school and then help with fishing. Very poignant. Then on to an oyster farmer who lives with his family in a house on stilts above the water. The oysters are kept in place in old bicycle tires. Thousands of those tires are lying along the road. They get about a dollar for a kilo of oysters. Then we went to a waterfall where we could swim and have a cold beer. Then on to a restaurant on the beach of Lang Co beach. Delicious oysters and lobster. Such a luxury. After lunch we started the Hai Van pass route. Very nice road with beautiful views. After the pass we changed from the Jeep to an SUV and went via Marble Mountains to the hotel in Hoi An. A really great day. Our guide Bumblebee spoke excellent English and knew a lot about the region. Recommended!

Jeep tour from Hue to Hoi An. Was a wonderful experience. Our guide Bumblebee was fantastic; super knowledgable and a really funny chap. Tour was through the countryside from Hue to the waterfalls, missing out the countryside and seeing more of local life. Waterfalls were a special treat. After Hai Van pass we were transferred to a SUV as the jeeps aren’t allowed in downtown Da Nang. Really recommend this trip. Super comfortable, amazing guide and a great experience overall.

The Hai Van pass was an absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam. Our tour guide and driver were amazing and showed us all of the best bits (as well as taking photos for us) and was informative all the way through. If you're planning on visiting either Hue or Hoi An/Danang (or both) I would say find a way to do the Hai Van Pass. The view from the top is one of the best we had on our entire trip and the scenery throughout was stunning. The Jeep was perfect for us as neither of us felt comfortable doing the pass on a bike (although having seen people doing it I can certainly see the attraction of doing it that way). The pickup and drop off direct from our hotels was smooth and easy. It was a tiny bit cramped in the back of the jeep for us, but that's mostly because we had massive bags that also had to fit in the back seat with us so be warned if you have a lot of luggage. The seat itself isn't the most comfortable and cushioned but you get used to it. There were so many added sights and stops aside from the actual Hai van pass drive that added to a great experience. We had to switch from the jeep to a car at the end of the Hai van pass as they can't take the jeep through Da Nang but this was fine for us as we had seen all the big sights by then and the aircon and comfy seats were welcome.

Our Jeep guide Bumble Bee was absolutely fantastic and funny! He was informative and showed us all the best spots including the marble mountains, a cosy serene waterfall spot, the city of ghosts, a seafood shack over the beach as well stopping for numerous photos opportunities! Would 100% recommend well worth the money! Also played some great tunes on the radio!

We were initially looking for a tour which would take us from Hue to Da Nang via the Hai Van pass. Although Hue motorbike tours normally run their Hai Van pass trips from Hue to Hoi An, they were more than willing to accommodate us by agreeing to drop us off at our next stop in Da Nang. Travelling in the open top jeep ensured that we were able to experience the Hai Van pass to the fullest and take in all the stunning views we saw throughout the day. Our guide Bumblebee looked after us for the whole trip and allowed us to spend as much or as little time as we wanted at each stop. This was definitely one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

This Hai Van Pass open top jeep experience was amazing from start to finish! Our driver, bumble bee, kept us entertained for the full day and ensured we were having the time of our lives (which we were). From swimming in fresh waterfalls on a blistering hot day to stopping at a beautiful beach for some lunch. Not to mention cruising along the Hai Van Pass with tunes blasting, taking in the stunning scenery. We couldn’t recommend Hue Motorbike Tours enough.
