Our family, with 4 teens, had an 8 hr layover at Bole Airport and decided to do a half day trip in Addis. Our driver (Amatachew) and guide (Beka) were waiting for us in the terminal after immigration with a clear sign. Beka's English was excellent and he filled us in on a lot of fun facts about Ethiopia which we really enjoyed. We drove through the Mercado Market which would have been difficult to navigate otherwise. Mercado is way too large and crazy to navigate without a local. We also requested a lunch at Ethiopian restaurant which we also throughly enjoyed. We went for coffee which we wanted to buy to bring home, but cafe only sold grounds. Beka went out of his way to find us whole beans and even paid for it since we didn't have Birr (we gave him USD$). We arrived back at the airport by the time we requested and would recommend this operator again.

I had a blast! This was easy to arrange. I was picked up promptly at 8:30 and we went through Addis to the National Museum. The guide and driver were both professional, courteous and friendly. The museum was wonderful and we were able to see a wide range of Ethiopian culture and also Emperor Selassie's bedroom! After this, we went up one of the mountains for a panoramic view of Addis, then the Church of St. George and ended with a coffee at a cool coffee spot. I had to run to the airport and they delivered me there in the time I needed. The two gentlemen from Majesty Ethiopia Tours that led the tour were wonderful.

Highly recommend this tour. The communication was clear and easy leading up to pickup. The vehicle was nice and new. At all times my family felt safe with the visits and driving around. What we most liked about the tour was the ability to change durations for sites we wanted to spend more or less time at. The coffee ceremony at the top of Entonto was unexpected and memorable. We also changed the order of sites. Though we were the only ones in this group tour so this may not be possible for all. Most appreciated was a small detour at the end to buy a souvenir for my daughter. Thank you Fitsum (guide) for the great authentic tour well suited for my family.

Our. Family enjoyed a safe and fulfilling tour of Addis. Communication about pickup and punctuality top notch. What was most enjoyed was the ability to work with the guide and driver to reorder the tour, change durations and the order. This may not be available to all but my family of four were the only ones in the group tour. I would highly recommend using Beka. Also, my daughter really wanted a specific souvenir and we were able to take a slight detour on the way back to the hotel to shop and buy it. Great tour!!

Beka was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. I learned so much about Ethiopia, culture, people, history, etc. he had an answer to just about every question I asked. He was super fun to hang out with for the day. I will definitely be returning to Ethiopia to see him again!

It was my first time in Africa, and I was worried about security and language when I went sightseeing, but this tour was really a great answer. The most enjoyable part was the visit to St. Giorgillus Cathedral. The complex relationship between Ethiopian history and religion was so beautiful!

Very informative!! I booked this trip 4 hours prior to the start time, our guide was not only able to accommodate our time restrictions but was able to fit in all the sites I had asked to see. We had an excellent experience.
