What To Expect

Aruba Aloe Factory, Museum and Store

Learn all about the Aruba aloe production process along with the 160 year history of Aloe Vera cultivation in Aruba during the factory & museum tour. Afterwards visitors have the opportunity to shop for their perfect Aloe Vera product. Before you leave, don't forget to snatch a picture underneath a Divi Divi tree with the Aloe plantation in the background.

California Lighthouse

The California Lighthouse is built on top of the Hudishibana hill, located on the north-west tip of Aruba. Passengers will get the opportunity to get off the bus and admire the lovely 360 degree view atop the hill. See how the white sand beaches meets the desert-like landscape. To explore the surrounding area is free. If you wish to climb up the Lighthouse there is an admission fee applicable that is not included in this tour.

Half day was more like 5 hours! Many stops, not crowded, cold AC, fun driver (Farley), very knowledgeable, pickup/dropoff close to ship.

Our guide Ato was excellent. He kept the tour on schedule and we saw so much during the half day tour. I loved the stop at Aruba Aloe; seeing how their lotions are made from planting to production was fascinating. Aruba was my favorite island of our cruise stops. The baby bridge, lighthouse and beautiful beaches were so picturesque. I highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I were on a ship that left early that day and our driver was respectful of ensuring we didn’t moss the boat. The hostess at the beginning of the trip was also very kind to make sure we got on the bus in the first place!! The tour was informative and eye opening! Aruba takes good care of their people and the Landscape was beautiful. We enjoyed all of the stops and activities. I recommend!

This was an amazing tour to do solo. Mary (sorry if the spelling is off) was so personable and entertaining. She made sure the tour was filled with laughs and history. I was able to capture great photos and videos and I can’t thank her enough for the experience. I would recommend this tour for anyone into history or looking for a great sight seeing tour. FYI it is possible to make to the top of the tower. It looks more intimidating from the outside but worth it once you make it to the top.

The trip was short and sweet. We saw the Lighthouse, and few other landmarks. Also got the opportunity to see the inner parts of the islands. Unfortunately, I did not see too many of the local people, or experience the local habitat. Marie, the tour guide was good though. She did her job well!

First driver was awesome. The one who toured us around all day was not. He talked so fast you could hardly understand him. He drove so fast he was scary. Plus we went over speed bumps at a speed that made me fly out of my seat almost every time. We had a full view of the island though. We saw a lot in a half day tour.
