My husband, 2yo son and I were incredibly happy with our half day Bali tour. Our guide/driver was Wira and he was fantastic. Wira was very knowledgeable, happy and spoke very good English. We felt safe and comfortable at all times and would recommend this tour and Wira to everyone. Thank you so much.

In our opinion, this is an excellent way to get a taste of what Bali has to offer. Private tours aren’t usually our thing, but our driver Wira was exceptional. Such a friendly and engaging professional, Wira gave us an insight into not just the attractions, but also into Balinese life. It has certainly given us future location options should we visit Bali again.

Our guide Ketut was so friendly, warm and accommodating. He made sure we felt safe as we traversed the beautiful rice terraces. We also really enjoyed the coffee farm and tasting all of the tea and coffee varieties. Our favorite was to see the resident Luwaks “Jojo” and friends. They were very tame and sweet animals. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Ubud area. Ketut was very helpful to take photos of us on our journey. We learned a lot about the Balinese way of life, religion, schooling, and philosophy. Thank you,Ketut! You made our day very special 🙏 Shannon and Susie

We booked this trip last minute and it didn’t disappoint… The half day was perfect for us, 8am hotel pick up and afternoon drop back off The rice fields were a highlight with plenty of actives to make the most of the incredible views of the rice fields and experience a swing over the valley ! We recommend the swing … Waterfall was fab and plenty of cafes to grab a drink / food The temple was a great stop to experience the Bali culture Wira (our driver) made the day and looked after us, making sure we had enough time at each stop and providing invaluable local experience! If you fancy a delve behind the beach side of Bali the half day tour is for you !

My guide, Komang Alu, picked me up at the cruise terminal where my ship was docked. The first thing he did was discuss the timing and we rearranged the itinerary a little as I only had five hours before I had to be back on the ship. We landed on seeing Tegenungan Waterfall, a monkey sanctuary and Elephant Cave Goa Gajah. He had to drop the Tegalalang Rice Terraces due to distance and timing. However, Komang stopped along the way to the waterfall to an area that had many rice fields. There were workers in the fields planting and areas of harvesting. After Komang explained the whole process, I will appreciate every bite when eating rice from now on! We got to the waterfall first which is located in a lush, green canyon. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Then we headed to the monkey sanctuary, which is only a few minutes from the waterfall. The monkeys are free roaming in their natural habitat. There was one giant cage that housed two small white monkeys. The white monkeys have to be segregated because the other monkeys will kill them. I was able to feed and pet the monkeys and feed the fruit bats. That was a highlight for sure! We headed to the elephant cave/temple. There is a lot of culture and history there. I left the temple feeling better than when I entered. I could not have asked for a better excursion! Komang Alu curated the exact experience I was looking for. Many, many thanks to Komang for hosting me in Bali. I will never forget it!! I HIGHLY recommend Komang for your tour guide - he will get you where you want to go!!

We had the most incredible day exploring Ubud with our driver, Ketut, who truly made the entire experience seamless and memorable from start to finish. He reached out via WhatsApp the afternoon before to check in, which immediately gave us confidence, and was ready and waiting in our hotel lobby the next morning. The car was spotless, the air conditioning perfectly cold (a must in Bali!), and he had iced water available for us throughout the day. Our original itinerary included the stunning Tegalalang Rice Terrace, the Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave temple) and the breathtaking Tegenungan Waterfall. He also went above and beyond by taking us to a luwak coffee plantation with tea, coffee and chocolate tastings, and an amazing restaurant for lunch, which made the day feel really personalised rather than just a standard tour. What truly set him apart was his local knowledge and cultural insight. He shared so much with us along the way, making each stop more meaningful. He struck the perfect balance of being engaging and friendly, while still giving us space to enjoy each location. He also took the most beautiful photos for our family throughout the day—something we’ll genuinely treasure. Ketut is an absolute gem of a person, incredibly flexible, and intuitively tailors the day based on what you’re interested in. If you’re looking for an authentic, insider’s view of Ubud and Balinese culture, we couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Our day in Bali was truly fabulous, thanks to our guide, Ketut Ajus, who led us on a tour that covered various aspects of the local culture, traditions, and family life. The DWT GEO GAJAH was our first stop, where Ketut provided a highly informative tour with the the Elephant Cave. Next, we visited the stunning rice terraces. An unexpected highlight was our stop at a coffee plantation, where we tasted 15 different flavors. Ketut chose a great place for lunch, and then we headed to the Tengenungan Falls. Ketut delivered us safely back to our ship in plenty of time before our departure.
