A different way to discover Cuenca is on a bicycle and walking, you will enjoyed the geography of the valley allows us to travel through the one of the most beautiful ecuadorian city. Will be visit the most representative sectors. In this fun tour, as you travel around the city you will feel part of it, appreciating and living in every corner a different experience. After a short bike tour, we will start the tour on foot through the historic center of the city, admiring its important churches, squares and above all enjoy the warmth of its people and the beautiful architecture. This tour will take us approximately 4 hours (biking 2 hours and walking 2 hours). This kind of tour is designed for all ages.

What To Expect

El Barranco del Rio Tomebamba

You will meet the guide by the la Merced church, from there you will get your equipment to start your Biking tour. You will spend a couple of hours by the river banks of Cuenca, also you will have time for a traditional snack in las Herrerías street.

Polylepis Tours organized a fantastic, full day bike tour of historic Cuenca, San Joaquin Valley, and beautiful natural areas for me and my husband. We love to tour by bicycle and this was the perfect way to see Cuenca, learn about its history, and see surrounding agriculture and small villages. We highly recommend Polylepis Tours. My friend and I took a 1/2-day walking tour of Cuenca's old city. Christian was a very knowledgeable guide in terms of Cuenca's history and architecture and he was able to match our energy level and pace. He was personable, patient and answered all of our questions. He suggested great places to eat and shop. I would highly recommend this tour.
